Forum avatar issue

As you can see i don't have an avatar, but i do know there is a 100kb upload limit etc.

 

However no matter how small the image is.. (90kb, 83kb, 44kb) everytime i hit upload it tells me that file exceeds 100kb (when it clearly doesn't).

 

Can one of the Web smart dev people tell me A: where i am going so badly wrong or B: why the forums hate me so much :P

Try using .jpeg as the file format. (I'm assuming that it's .png or other.)

Well the default is png so that shouldn't be a problem, also DRM's is also png, LVG's is jpeg.

 

90x90 pixels / 1949 octets is the default size.

 

Where are you uploading from ?

the weird thing is its smaller than my previous image (which was different from when i was mod) so im a little confused to why it's behaving like this...

Right i changed it to PNG to reduce the filesize even further (78kb) but yet nothing....
