Is it possible to delete your tent permanently ? I tried packing it up but after the server restarts the tent keeps coming back. I don't like the position it is and I don't wanna duplicate the tent every time.

Server may have ate them for a little bit. We've lost all of our tents and vehicles once for two days on a Virginia server a while ago. It'll come back, or it might not. I know it took a little after the release of 1.7.1.5 for our tents to get wiped.

Been looting cherno, elektro and alot of small towns on my way up north, and i havent come across a singel tent i markets and other civilian houses.

Are they completly gone or am i looking in wrong places?

They have a pretty low drop rate. I found one once in like a chicken coop and an apartment, but mainly have found the others in markets because of how many loot piles can spawn in a market.

I've played probably several days worth of hours now, and have only ever seen one tent spawn as loot (I've had 1 other tent too, which I stole from another player...)

They seem VERY rare.

More on topic, in the last couple of days I have seen 2 tents in separate cities and on separate servers. In "my" personal experience it is rare.

Next server I ran for like 5 minutes and found a traktor. I was so excited I hoped in hit the gas and crashed into a tree after 1 meter -> dead.

We have visited site after site looking for vehicles but not a single one, i guess because they are all sat off map where we cant reach them.

and i disagree, the big clans who build tent sities will likely have no problem dealing with this, they just put the good stuff in their cars, move spot, replace tent after wipe. nothing will change. while the usual lone survivor will get punished for their actions.

but so is life in alpha.

i just wish there was a better solution, like only wipe tents that have another tent within close range. i still don't grasp whats the problem with tent sities. if the off-map tents are the problem, well just prun tents and vehicles off-map? do it on a regulare basis, so it won't be worth the time to place a tent there to begin with.

after a server time out all our vehicles and tents and stuff is gone now.... that really pisses me off now.... 4 of us were crusing on a boat when the timeout appeared... and lost all their stuff in water... i think there should be sth like when you log off on water you spawn at coast or sth like that because otherwise its fucking annoying

the wipe happened almost a week ago but today another tent wipe happened but we didn't get a warning so everyone who had stuff in the tent has now lost it :(

When you die the tent no longer belongs to you. You start a new character.

ie the tent only belongs to the specific character who placed it. Not your whole account.

Also , im not sure if this is actually working or not , but 2 days after the character dies the tent "should" dissapeer. With your new character you have to put up a new tent and move all the gear across to it from your old tent if you want to keep it.
