outlaw1198 34 Posted July 8, 2013 why don't you guys working on the stand alone give a use to the whisky bottles by been able to fill them from lakes and ponds like you can do with water bottles it would give more of a survival feel to the game. Thanks
AmberHelios 2071 Posted July 8, 2013 a better thing to do is ask them why is all the whisky gone
Death_Dealer 3155 Posted July 8, 2013 Pretty basic suggestion but I like it. It would be nice to grab a few whiskey bottles from town, fill 'em up with water, then tie them up at your camp to use later.

SpudmanWP 27 Posted July 8, 2013 Better question: Why do I need a container at all in order to take a drink from a water source? Why can't I stick my face in the water or use my hands to take a drink?I understand the need for a container to store water, but one should not be needed to take a drink at the source.

You should have the *ability* to drink straight from a water source. As for the whiskey bottle idea...

B)I know which bush I will hide in already ;)

Beck (DayZ) 1768 Posted July 9, 2013 I heard they are adding a lot of diseases in SA so you won't want to be drinking unpurified water.
Death_Dealer 3155 Posted July 9, 2013 I heard they are adding a lot of diseases in SA so you won't want to be drinking unpurified water. That's where whiskey bottles would prove useful. Fill them all up with water, bring them back to camp, and heat them up over a campfire. The bottle won't get deformed or destroyed by heat since it's glass, so that's another plus. harley001 315 Posted July 9, 2013 a better thing to do is ask them why is all the whisky goneThe world has gone to sh*t and is covered with zombies and bandits. Of course people are going to drink all the whiskey!

liquidcactus 719 Posted July 10, 2013 used for molotov cocktails and water bottles..Well they should be able to transport any liquid really... but like the chap above suggested what about lid caps ?Do all bottles have their respected cap when you find them ? I think they should.. maybe an idea thats better than having a "no bottle cap chance" is the chance of the bottle braking inside your pack if you fall over or get struck down by a zombie.. a small % chance that a bottle may break in your back pack ..very small change before the sooks get in on this ^_^ I suggest this as I know for certain the SA will have a feature where you can be tackled or struck to the ground by infected
outlaw1198 34 Posted July 21, 2013 ok on the Molotov idea you could use a jerry can to fill the whisky bottle with fuel and use a bandage as a fuse for the top a very simple crafted molotov
