Just posted by R4zor49 today. I think it's pretty fricken awesome, and I think it's a change we can all agree is going to be great. I'm still trying to figure it out, looks like there are some brand new features in it. I posted it in case anyone missed it.

Looks much better than the ArmA 2 one, actually this one might be easier to use.

Reminds me of the old Medal of Honor series, no idea why...

It a looks lot like a reskin to me. That's not really a bad thing though. I'd love to see what R4ZOR49 says about it.

This seems WAY more user-friendly. I'm just curious what the "Carrying" and the arrows beside "Carrying" and the primary weapon slot is.

No, apparently these are the slots for carrying binoculars, like you carry binoculars and nightvision now.

He does not actually the binoculars in his inventory; it is just the image for the slot, so if he were to have NVGs and Rangefinders in his inventory, it would show them instead of the image of the binoculars. Same goes for the pistol slot, hence the Glock.

What is carrying actually all about? Is it like you can pick up certain items, and then they show up in that slot?

Not all i noticed BUT duct tape and wrenches? Shits getting real now, i wanted duct tape added to crafting, it's uses are limitless! I hope it has some utility or if it doesnt it will be added :)

But lets take the rest of your comment Hmm...a clue? What new feature is there?! Don't drive me mad man!

*hmm side chat discussion, nothing new there, just storage of gear?

*the red and green magazine? Health of magazine? Or just it's current fullness. Leaning towards the latter.

*the icon next to X (close) symbol to the right of the Back symbol? what is it? -edit- looks like the same Backpack symbol but smaller? Is it pockets?

*"Carrying" vs "Weapon in hand"? We have the same old 12 item slots, old ideas but new symbols for sidearm, backpack, binos/nvg but "Carrying"? Do the arrows hint at some type of quick swap thing?

*HA! The stupid in combat icon is gone...

Hows that?

It looks great! Maybe the "carrying" could be a nice way to switch between primary weapons to axe/crowbar/machete/baseball bat.
