Kerbo 198 Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) I haven't played on a public hive for quite some time but the other day decided to try out US 3889. There were active admins and overall the experience was good. I died a lot but that's because I play as a hero and don't shoot non-bandits. So after gearing up a bit and surviving the killing fields of Elektro I logged off all alone in the middle of the woods north of Rog castle. My gear was simple: survivor skin, Lee, Makarov, basic supplies. Today when I logged on I'm in the middle of the NWAF in a ghillie suit with an M14 and 8 mags. My backpack is gone. ?!? This looks like the aftermath of the classic script that teleports everyone to the NWAF for a deathmatch, but I wasn't even online. wtf is going on with the public hive?Update: edited title Edited April 10, 2013 by Kerbo Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you did, more than likely someone has your CD-Key.I was definitely on public servers (US 3889 and also tried US 1992). My fault for not being cautious enough. GrrrrThat sucks. I lost my CD Key along time ago because I was stupid enough to download a program that was suppose to increase my FPS (As stated in my SIG). Any arma file should NEVER be downloaded from a non trusted site. I logged off with run of the mill gear - AK, sidearm, some supplies, etc. When I logged back in, I had a whole night assault starter kit - silenced weapons, ghillie suit, nvg, gps, everything. Whoever has that key will start at the coast. :DThis sounds like one of those rare cases in which hacking is recommended.Meaning you've already lost ownership of your key, so while you still atleast have access to his (your) character, you should at least grab some obvious hack and go on a rampage before he does.
