Just added the following scripts:

• Tow - Large vehicles like Urals, Buses and Tractors can now tow other vehicles (all bikes, cars, vans etc)
  
• Heli Cargo Lift - The UH1H and Mi17 can now cargo lift other vehicles around the map.
  
• Remove vehicle Parts - You can now remove parts from one vehicle to fix parts on another vehicle (just don't steel from another players vehicle, if you're caught you'll be banned).
  

More additions coming soon...

Hello,

I was trying your server and it really runs well, getting good FPS and everything seems to be working fine. However..

I found a red "wolksvagen Golf" and started to joyriding in cherno with it, when suddenly I heard a gunshots, both semi and automatic fire and snaps like bullets flying near. I checked the playerslist and there was only one player + me in the server. I thought that it was him shooting at me so I drove off on the other side of the town and got out of the car. After looting couple of indu-houses i returned to my car and then again, gunshots and snaps. I was outside near the car and still there was only me and that other guy on the server. I scouted the area but couldnt find him, so I jumped in my car and started to drive to east.

All the way to the Balota airfield there were randomly snaps ang gunshot-like sounds until I did found the other guy, he was lying in the bush and started to shoot at me, breaking my rear glass. His gun shots sounded just the same that i was hearing earlier, except this time they were actual bullets that were going by... Soon after I had to park the car and log off, because my kids came home from school, so I didnt have the time to investigate if those gunfire sounds were still there...

Is there some bug in "golf" sounds or have someone else experienced this?? Other servers I´ve played the golfs sounds have been normal. This game is already giving me the creeps so i really dont need any ghost gunfire sounds to give me a heart attack... ;)

Coming back soon, this server is already in my favorites. :beans:

Some vechiles often sound like gunfire going off at times, faint but a mindfuck in anycase,

and tbh the AI if it wass them would likely hit your car with ease!

I forgot that there is AI present...I think that explains the gun shots when lying beside my car and the motor was off.

@PredatorSchnizel , haha! Sorry, that reminded me of how I felt on a server once with AI (and they didn't even mention they had them). I actually spent 2 hours crawling around bushes and sneaking in and out of buildings trying to find this illusive "player" that turned out to be an AI with a poor aim.

Did you see the Heuy btw? That other player I think was me, and I found a dead player next to a Red car in Balota, so when I saw them log on again I actually heli lifted it for them and dropped it where they'd re spawned but they panicked I think and logged off again.

I'm really glad you like the server and give me a nudge next time you're on so I can white list you, which will let you get on even when Admins aren't around. Meanwhile let me know if you have any other questions and good luck with those AI's ;)

No worries. We have added you to the whitelist. Had to deal with a theif in our camp first, that's the kick you probably witnessed just then! Me and the other admin are flying to Cherno to say hi ;)

Had to bail out from Cherno, I was running low on blood. Someone shot me pointblank with lee enfield, not sure if it was AI or a player. Wasn´t wearing a bandit skin and stopped shooting after I yelled him that: "dont shoot, im friendly"....( earning a slap to the back of my head from my wife for shouting it loud :D )

You flew over me and my red Golf when i was looting the gas station east of Elektro, I was really hoping that you could see me because i needed someone to give me blood from my backpack. Had to go hunting and found a couple of cows to survive another day.

Great feeling server and the AI is really making it interesting, definitely coming back!

You were shot by the same guy that killed me while I was waiting in the heli on the docks. He came over, asked if we could see him typing, the shot me point blank. Not to worry though, he's also the same guy that got caught steeling from the community base and we nailed his ass to the floor. We've enabled sidechat again btw, for the purpose of people letting us know if they're under siege, find a hacker or need help, so keep that in mind for next time. Thanks again for adding us to your favorites :)

Are you alloved to engage AI snipers? Couple of them was fighting a bandit mob in Stary and after they have shot all the bandits, i tried to loot the bodies, but snipers opened fire upon me. At least I think it was them, sounded like a M14. Server was about to restart so I bail out into woods....

I also noticed that AI is using vehicles, right? No one else in the server, suddenly my car was moved about 100m and what it seems from a distance, there was a dead bandit on drivers seat.

Hey, I see you've had fun with the server updates then ;)

Yep, the AI now behave like real players, i.e they'll steal your vehicles to get to their next waypoint (they won't take it far, usually!), they may even help themselves to your gear, so be careful where you leave your stuff..

Bandits are bandits in my eyes, kill on sight and take no chances .. AI or otherwise ;)

Yep, an AI troop took my heli as I logged in to test the script last night and when I tried to shoot them down they nailed me SAS style.. Thankfully I fixed the Devils Castle guards though, I think, and they shouldn't be taking players vehicles anymore. They might grab gear though, but I'm working on that :)

The AI heli patrols are all over the map, the AI's both heli and ground spawn the same way zombies do. So when you leave an area or log off, they'll despawn, freeing up server memory and hopefully reducing lag. Still in beta stage though, so let me know how you get on. But remember, these are all random now, so not even I know where they'll spawn or how many of them.. lol

Then I came nearby your admin island and I got a warning to turn around, what I did. Then it kicked me, I was like 1km away from this zone. wtf. Yeah, I have to start over now. -1 plane (full of gasoline. -.-). Anyways, nice server hope more ppl will join.

Hello (again),

AI friendlys are not so friendly anymore. They shoot on sight and there are dozens of them... For example,

our visit to cherno hospital ended up in pure massacre, and it was imbossible to loot our bodies because of the AI.

It was fun though, but will be confusing if more human players join the server.

AI heli patrols seems to reduce the FPS, but not much. Normally driving through cherno i get 60FPS, now it was about 30-40 FPS whit 2 helis hovering above....

Yeah, I've turned that script off for now. I actually noticed what it had done and asked you if we could put your character back to NWA next to another plane, but you didn't reply.. You did reply to my other comments though, so I assumed you were cool with it. Again though, I'm sorry about that and I'm glad you like the server. I've fixed the survivor AI's attacking on site issue as well, but they will attack in-force if anyone kills even just one of them ;)

AI Bandits? That would be horrible.. They would wreck anyone they saw.. AIs are deadly accurate
