Headlamp

Greetings!

I have played many games, in the dark we use light, how do we aquire light?

Most common is a flashlight or other light sources. I have never seen a HEADLAMP. Why not? most common light we use nowadays, in work, dark jogging etc. Why not include a headlight and batteries?

Pros:

- Can wield a hatchet/gun and have light.

- More "survival" stuff ou need.

Cons:

- Goto scavange batteries.

P.S The current light "cone" is worthless, instead of the sharp dark corners there should be some darker cones at the sides so you can see what you are doing in thight spaces. The light needs more speadings. D.S.

I remember the duct tape mod for DOOM3 for the flashlight. Why not? Find an extra flashlight at a market and duct tape it to a gun? Survival not fancy equipment ^^

I've got a LED headlamp right next to my desk, there's all kinds of things they could add for hands free lights without having to find a gun mod Hell if anyone's seen Moonshiners, one of the guys on the show (Tickle) has a baseball hat with two small LEDs in the brim that he uses when hes checking his still at night. This might be going into the specialized territory but I saw an arm/wristband thing that had 3-6 lights mounted on it that's for mechanics, no matter which way you turn your hand you'll always have light for what your doing. In fact, didn't the US military used to have a flashlight that had a 90 degree bend so you could have the flashlight strapped to your BDU or in a vest pocket and it'd be facing forward?

this is the most important part - but as was explained before the problems is with textures that don't reflect light but instead let it through...

Headlamps are very common so why not ingame? So you could multitask.

Since this game came out I have always wanted the idea of gadgets etc needing batteries.. it would make you reALLY value your light source(s) 10 fold

You should be able to wear a headlamps with some other types of helmets. Like the motor helmet, a ball cap, or beanie

i likes this idea mainly because instaed of the flashlight when your running with your arms going widly up and down so does the flashlight you have to walk in order to actually see the light but the headlamp would light up where your head is pointing at i like this idea plus with all poeple saying should be able to put it on helmets or guns with duct tape i like it i think its a very good idea
