I am absolutely not interested in which side the cars fly, on the server side, or on the client side. The abnormal behavior of machines is the result of poorly calculated physics in the game and poor data transfer between the client and server. I can play on a stable server, but an abrupt stop of the car or a 90-degree turn will play, car throws, diving vehicles, flying vehicles in any direction and at high speed - the server or client sends or receives incorrect coordinates, or the coordinates are not calculated correctly . Fix the shitty job! No need to tell tales about complexity. Do not know how to work with physics - hire a specialist.

ArmA vehicles are client sided tho... DayZ is server sided... as i said Bohemia will make servers multi core so don't worry

So, at this point we can say vehicles will never work? I'm trully shocked by this, GTA San Andreas Multiplayer (2004), 16 years old game have multiple functional vehicles (including Helicopters, Boats etc..) but Dayz in 2020 cannot. I'm...speechless.

Just edit the TraderConfig.txt file in your trader folder on the server. I usually just add a new category for the modded items to an existing trader. Like Base Building stuff to the tools trader: <Trader> Misc Trader // This trader comes as default with the trader mod. <Category> Tools (small) Binoculars, *, 0, 0 CanOpener, *, 0, 0 ChernarusMap, *, 0, 0 CombatKnife, *, 0, 0 Compass, *, 0, 0 ... ... more standard items here ... ... <Category> BaseBuildingPlus // Just add a new category called whatever you want. BBP_Land_Claim_FlagKit, *, 0, 0 BBP_Blueprint, *, 0, 0 BBP_Workbench, *, 0, 0 BBP_T1_WallKit, *, 0, 0 BBP_T1_Wall_HalfKit, *, 0, 0 Obviously adjust the prices to your liking. I have set mine to 0 since I just run a test server. Hopefully the mod creator, or someone in the comment section of the mod, has posted already done trader lists for you to just paste into this file. If not, you're just going to have to add them yourself using the object names most likely posted by the mod creator on the mod page. Here is a description of the three columns following the object name of the modded item. It's straight from the file itself: // Quantity: * means max value; Quantity V means Vehicle; Quantity VNK means Vehicle without Key; Quantity M means Magazine; Quantity W means Weapon; Quantity S means Steak Meat; Quantity K means Key Duplication // Sellvalue: -1 means it can not be sold // Buyvalue: -1 means it can not be bought Vehicles are a bit more work to. This file contains sections named the same as the vehicle class name in the previous file, and each section contains the vehicle parts the vehicle will spawn with. [NewMod] PvZmoD Customisable Zombies [Release Overview]

Hello everyone, here is a little overview of my new mod I released this week. Its name is PvZmoD Customisable Zombies and it is not difficult to guess what is its purpose but let's see what it propose in detail. This mod intends to allow server admins to modify a lot of zombies characteristics. The particularity being that (compared to other mod modifying characteristics) There is no need to repack. Modifications can be apply without restarting the server (Numpad4 shortcut do the job). Each zombie categorie can have its own characteristics. The characteristics can be different for day and night time. This make the mod easy (there is a detailed help file) to use and very versatile. The main question is of course « What characteristics can be changed ?». The modifications can be grouped in three main categories : The health, the movements and the strength. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Health : Fist customisable value is of course the health points for day and night (take habit that ALL characteristics can have different values for night and day, I will not repeat that each time) but it is not all, there is there resistance to différent damage types : Resistance to bullets : no need to explain that, I think. Resistance to melee attack : it only affects fight against zombies, not pvp. Resistance to heavy attack : if you want to reward these attack types and lower the click spawn fighting which not always very interesting. Resistance to explosions : vanilla zombies are very resistant making the grenade almost ineffective against them so I lowered this resistance. Resistance to vehicles : to avoid the too easy « drive on zombies to clean a zone », my default values only increase this resistance for « strong zombies » like military ones. Resistance to headshots : useful if you want to make zombie that have to be headshot (increase their health and decrease their headshot resistance). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The movements : In this category we have movement speed and the crawling behaviour : The maximum speed can be lower to make « non-sprinting » or walkers zombies The minimum speed can be modified too, this will replace the walking speed. For example if you set the minimum speed to a « run » value, each time the zombie should walk (when he is roaming without aggro players) he will run. That makes him more impredecible for player and brings the sensation that the zombie is hunting or have aggro a player (and sometime can be pretty scary by make thinking he is a player) The chance to spawn crawling : In vanilla dayz I have the feeling that the zombies does not spawn crawling anymore, this option makes this thing a reality again. You can set a category to 100% if you want a specific "always crawling" zombie. Make the zombies never crawl : If you want to make a very strong zombie that never crawl even if you shot in the legs, it can be done. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The strength : Here is one thing that was not possible to do with default system, make different strength for each zombie category, now it is and here is the different customisable strength characteristics : - The Health Damages : it is a ratio applied to vanilla damages so it continue to count clothing protection. - The Health Damages : it is a ratio too, same thing than the health. - The Bleeding Chance : with vanilla system the zombie attacks have 10% chance to make the player bleed regardless of the zombie type or the attack type (light or heavy). With my system you can choose différent chance to bleed for each zombie category. - The Blood Damage : with vanilla system the zombies does not apply bleed damage (they only make the players bleeding but not directly affect their blood level) with my system zombie can affect directly blood level of the players. - The Stamina Damage : with vanilla system the zombies does not apply Stamina damage. With my system it is possible if you want some zombies to exhaust player instead of (or additionnel to) hurting him (allowing more diversity on zombies behaviours). That's all, no, it would be too basic. For each of these “strength characteristics” you can set a different value for light / heavy attacks and blocked / unblocked attacks (and of course a “night ratio” on top of that). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Features : That's all for the main characteristics but there is some other “little” things in the mod I would like to share. The fist fighting : Maybe you noticed how it is easy to fight zombies with fist without taking any damage and this method is so boring (click click click click….). To deepen the fist fight mechanics I added little damages deals to player when he fist fight the zombies without gloves and a gloves degradation when he wear gloves. Of course the player will not die that way, he can't go lower than 80% of his health that way but this can make a difference in some circumstance. Of course this option (like all the other) can be tweaked or disable. The night time : With the vanilla system the game consider it is tha night time when night has not yet really fallen. You surely noticed that if you play server with accelerated night time, the night fall very very fast so you can't enjoy the sunrises and sunsets (you open your inventory 1mn and when you close it, oh it's night!). Considering that, I made an option to tweak the time used to switch between day and night zombie characteristics (to not have “night zombie” while the sun seem pretty high). Keep in mind that it does not modify the night server speed it only affect zombies characteristics. By default this value is disable because it have to be tweaked by taking into consideration the season the server runs (sunset / sunrise time is not the same for winter and summer) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A couple of other things : These things can't be modified without repacking the mod (which is allowed as long as you update your credits) Zombies do not attack the animals except the wolves. Zombies inventory size increased. Zombies are less easily attracted by the impact of bullet and the shots with a suppressor (and the durability of the suppressors have been increased a little bit). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conclusion : Ok I think that's all for the moment, I would just add that the mod should be compatible with mods that add new zombies (can't guarantee, you have to test) but is not recommended to use it with mods that already modify zombies characteristics (like slow zombies for example). The other owners and I have been playing these games for many years and have hosted many servers on and off with our main goals to simply just have fun. We are here to provide a space to come to and make friends, form groups, but still get the great experience DayZ now offers in its full release. Er, unreleased vehicles? Console version is identical to PC. You just don't have mods and never will, so if you want to smoke pot in-game you'll need to get a PC or face disappointment.

Im pretty sure i speak for most console users here. We want the unreleased vehicles and cannabis into the game so Australia has banned the game for cannabis being in it big deal. Please add the items back in the game. We want to experience the full day z experience not just parts of it

yeah... about aerial vehicles being animated and coded... you can throw that code straight outta window because it's useless in the new engine because of the different programming language... if they put that code into the game it would either not work or crash the game... they literally started from scratch with the engine... basically reseting development time to around 3 years not 7... reason why it worked and they showed off a demo of it was because it was on the engine of another game called Take on Helicopters... basically ArmA 2 engine.. mods from ArmA worked in DayZ before but since like 0.60 they don't... so yeah... about that code for helicopters... it's unusable now... remember how V3S was in the game? go try Community Offline Mode.. and spawn V3S and try to use it.. it's bugged to shit because of new engine they did so code has to be rewritten from scratch... same with the bus.. Also Sumrak is now Project Lead we will get better game till end of this year... but we also got Corona kicking in so stuff will probably be delayed xD and you can't blame Corona on Bohemia so yeah

Find another game to play bro , this game is only worth a few hundred hours if you realize the devs aren’t going to be giving us the features we deserve . i wasted 2k+ hours on this game with another 1k of fun hours in the mod , most of my time in standalone was running around doing nothing but starving and freezing and I only played so much because the devs kept promising more and more which 45% of they didn’t even get to and have no date of when they are going to add these features (zombie hordes , advanced soft skills , barricading , aerial vehicles , 2 wheeled vehicles , contaminated zones). Broken servers , glitchy game , zombies aren’t a threat , pvp is useless and only for loot / cheap thrills (no reason to save someone because no soft skills that matter) and on top of this we have a dev team that refuses to give us dates on the content they OWE US the content they said would be in when we were all on the fence of if we wanted to buy dayz sa or not way back in December of 2013 ... if I had known how the devs would manage this game I never would have supported them and bought the game . They should have feature completed the game back In alpha and not rushed through the end of the alpha and through the beta because they clearly have more gameplay loops to add and the game as is just isn’t deep enough to sink into beyond just pvping and exploring (especially if you’ve played through every patch like I have, this games content just isn’t beefy enough compared to what the devs said it would be years ago).

Have you even been keeping up with this long winded 7 year development ? They haven’t even kept their promises from day one . Where’s helicopters ? Where’s zombie hordes ? Where’s contaminated zones ? Where’s barricading ? Where’s advanced soft skills ? Why is this game still a shallow run and gun simulator with NO AERIAL vehicles when the dayz mod had all these things 8 years ago? Why do people still give this shit game a chance? I have about 3 k hours spent in this game and the mod put together and I have to say I’m so disappointed at how these devs worked their game . We thought over three years ago we’d have a feature complete game - but yet we are ALMOST 7 YEARS INTO DEVELOPMENT AND WERE STILL NO CLOSER TO FULL FEATURE THAN WE WERE 2 YEARS AGO . Just let that sink In people , 7 years , over 10 million in sales and they can’t even finish the goddamn game , but they CAN charge for a shitty map that looks like vanilla chernarus , and they can and do ban hammer people like me who dislike how the game was managed . We should have had a feature complete game by 2020 , But they screwed us and couldn’t even add aerial vehicles - something that was done being animated and coded over 2 years ago btw . Steam charts are dropping again due to hackers , no visible progress or roadmap for 2020 , and this is all in a time when millions are staying at home during quarantine so if anything numbers should be going up ... devs you better give us something soon or you can kiss 20k concurrent players GOODBYE come 2021 as you see your shallow game die due to lack of updates and visible progress towards what it was supposed to be (hint: it was supposed to be more than this shallow hacker infested shoot em up).

British Survivors Roleplay British Survivors Roleplay is a new community that is starting up, the founders and developers of the server are all DayZ veterans and are great people! Within a week we have got quite a decent player base and there is always people on and playing. The server will constantly be in development and we are always open to suggestions. @ImpulZ please share with the devs the following issues all related to creatures breaking wall/boundary physics: Infected can clip thru walls, doors, and ceilingsof buildings and bunkers at military bases to the point I have a base built inside a bunker @ NWA and with doors closed and base fences infected glitch thru walls, ceiling and walk in thru closed doors like nothing’s there Infected can attack players thru walls/doors they flip thru in cities, towns and villages Wolves also suffer from same glitches and get trapped within walls of buildings grass clips thru bottom of vehicles and long armed weapons on player’s back clip thru vehicle roofs Please remedy all of these issues, for it’s very frustrating especially when it comes to base building.

Server Modded Performance, how to increase ?!

no no it's not DayZ like the game itself... not the client it's just the servers that need optimizing... like a lot... client optimization is mostly done... sure there is some stuff here and there like i can bet it's LOD's and assets of foliage because when i am around bushes and heavy foliage it get fps drop like crazy while looking at them... i suspect too much polygons... but yeah what i am trying to say.. DayZ as a game is optimized well... but the server side isn't these are 2 different beasts... it would be awesome from what i understand if you could set up a headless client like in ArmA that is dedicated to do AI stuff so it can improve perfomance and reduce workload on main server so it can do physics of vehicles and inventory sync while headless client takes care of AI/NPC / Infected/ Zombies work 😄 if you don;t know you should have seen old DayZ... like example would be the OG ArmA 2 DayZ mod... look at it... on your PC it would ran like 40fps at best xD or else in small Elektro you will get like 25fps -

I would add the following - due to the multiple network problems of the game, give the opportunity to play offline with the ability to save the character offline. This will enable the player, at least solo, not to encounter network game problems. 1. server restart - returned dead 2. server restart - returned, no part of the property 3. departure during a shootout - died 4. flying vehicles - a wrecked car, died 5. server cleaning or Hacker - property loss 6. 1000 + 1 more reason about network game problems

Has anyone else been having super glitchy vehicles on livonia. Ive lost 3 cars on the map already in the last 3 days ill be driving along in the middle of the road then boom im thrown sideways and hit that one random tree on the side of the road. Is it reallty that bad chenarus doesnt do that to me.. anymore its still a bit glitchy. by the way i play private server idk if it matters.

Hello everyone, Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but i need a little advise. I have a private server on Xbox, and i was going through the file manager section and seen that the transit bus and v3s with parts in the types section but was zeroed out. i changed the numbers will this now make the vehicles spawn or do i have add anything else in? thanks Widowmak3r1989

I play on PS4, To start off with bugs there are so many, 1. Getting random diseases for no reason at all 2.item glitching in tents, vehicles, dead bodys and player’s inventory 3.Cars need fixing ASAP, can’t even drive a car without the game crashing and freezing for like 2 minutes then find out you’ve crashed into a tree and the whole car is ruined. 4. The console DayZ needs updating 24/7 with new content. 5. Last but not least, when will console be getting private servers or the ability to have what PC has which is modded servers im paying £23 a month for a server which is unplayable due to same boring game features and bugs.

Wow so 2020 is all about bug Fixing and adding things you’ve removed ? Broken limbs ? Really ? This game is so far from what it’s supposed to be , what we all gave money to in 2013 to see come true. list of things still crucial to be added to dayz that hasn’t been mentioned in months if not years : soft skill system (You scrubs are just gonna put in the icons and not the actual feature ? Ok buddy !) contaminated zones - talked about over 2 years ago , but never again helicopters / aerial vehicles 2 wheeled vehicles barricading zombie hordes for actual Pve instead of dying to glitches . Overall dayz has been a great disappointment over The last two years in terms of promised content that will make the game so much more deep. If you vouch for dayz in its current state as being a full game you are either so obsessed with the idea of dayz that you can’t look past your own hand , or you are addicted to the PvP - the only thing that’s solid in this game . Add the damn features you roadmapped YEARS ago and STOP bug fixing until you have all the goddamn features in the game .... you people have already forgotten how SHORT beta phase was And that’s not acceptable seeing as we are basically STILL In beta phase . Might as well go back to alpha so the development makes sense . alpha = add all features beta = fix all features 1.0+ = all features should be in and fixed , and some small updates should be applied weekly. You dayz devs have blurred the lines of development phases far too much , and now you have a brainwashed player base willing to play a game that’s exactly the same game it was 2 years ago in alpha . Go ahead and add all the guns you want , this game will be a fraction of what it should be without soft skills , hordes , aerial vehicles etc . At this point escape from Tarkov has more interesting features and it’s not even a full open world game XD
