Quite a few updates have been made over the past few days to improve server performance and add more dangers. Players are now able to fight a wandering horde and also navigate the dangers of radiation zones. The server is now no longer password locked, however we still encourage that people join our discord to keep up to date with information regarding any changes being made as they are being done while also being able to vote for changes you want to see. Hello all, I'd like to welcome you to our new community The Republic of Survivors, we have opened up our servers and are based around the survival game genre. The other owners and I have been playing these games for many years and have hosted many servers on and off with our main goals to simply just have fun. We are here to provide a space to come to and make friends, form groups, but still get the great experience DayZ now offers in its full release. Server Specific Rules • Killing on sight will not be tolerated. • PVP encounters need to be roleplayed, there are some exceptions but it will be dealt with case by case. • Stealing vehicles from the trader areas is not allowed. • Raiding a player's base is allowed if you know they are currently on and active, if they are offline you cannot raid. • Following the rule above, you cannot log off if you know you are being raided unless you forfeit your opportunity to fight back.

We are a small server, we have 1 pvp zone as of right now, and that zone is in Sector B for now because there are no Sector B guards as for now, Sector B is not allowed to have any bases on it(Any bases seen in sector B will be removed by admins). I am not on the east coast, I am in central united states, but I am on pretty much most of the day, when I am not woking... and I am on sometimes late at night meaning 3 am lol I know, late but eh dayz is addicting

That stones do, what we could hope to see possible would be something that has to actually deal with warmth(that actually works) and for when night time comes or winter season it gets cold and you have to stay warm in some way and somehow otherwise you start to get sick and could actually catch frost bite and things like that, with frost bite limbs stop working and they need to be amputated with a sterile medical bone saw but since we have nice modern technology, you could find prosthetic limbs and such to re-enable use of the limb after amputation, I know this could be possible, but it would need a lot of coding that would work, but it would be a cool feature to see in DayZ and to see how realistic it is. But to keep with the fire idea, fire wards away frost bite and the cold so that you could avoid amputation, and with warm clothing that should exist would be a nice feature to the game, I don't know how some people would like it, but that's just me. I like realistic games, I think they are cool, and DayZ could become one if they add stuff in like that.

I'm starting to see this turn more and more into an epoch thing lol, epoch had a really good idea in where you could build anything really that your heart desires within reason, I would love to see epoch meet standalone meet possibly origins? Where you have survivor traders and building supplies and the modifiable vehicles along possibly with lockable cars and such that could be broken into with simple things like a hot wire kit or a stone to a window which in turn sets off the car alarm and attracts zombies and players alike to the area of that alarm. And maybe craft-able canvas from clothing, but you need several articles of clothing to craft a single canvas so it is not overpowered where you could craft large and small tents alike where you could actually enter them and get into their gear and it closes so that zombies can't get in and you could also have it so that they can be cut open with sharp objects such as knives to hatchets. Just an idea.

Rifle needs more ammo as well, you can't do too much damage with 120 rounds, I have 13 magazines of double stacked mags and I am ready to rock

Good idea, If they were to make a certain campfire that you build permanent would be amazing if you used the stones it would be permanent without the stones then it will be there until restart. I think the permanent fire would be a great way to encourage base building.
