You will be turning DayZ into a zero-sum game. On a long enough timeline, the only way to win will be not to play.

Are there plans to address the Tent Fortress Exploits? It's getting out of control.

Maybe it can get a bump up the action-item list. -

With the simple use of an alt-account as a “key”, and one empty tent a the “door”, otherwise it involves glitches and such. Just encourages bad form all around. -

They only spawn like that as of now. They just need to add a way to shred through them and problem solved. Can’t really blame players for a bit of ingenuity when base walls are far too fragile. -
I finally was able to confirm this. Parked a car, outdoors, in the tent, with all the wheels on, no problem. Maybe I’ll try it indoors next.
-
Can’t really confirm any of it since Xbox servers don’t have total access to server configurations. Coming from outside sources, there seems to be a limit.

I’ll disagree on the worth of cars, though you are right about the challenge emerging from the development of the game rather than the survival aspect we’re presented with. @M00nfly Whenever I need to drive an incline, I use Z-shaped turns and momentum.

I am not able to park my car in a building without trouble. The trouble comes from when the server restarts/resets/crashes. The car will shift inside the building, even end up ruined against a wall. I've seen cars flip or end up on the ceiling this way as well. I've tried with tires on and with them removed, no difference. From what I understand now, the cars are being placed from above and drop on the ground when the server starts. Has anyone else tried or seen otherwise? Any success? Tips? I'd like to see this added to the list of fixes. @ImpulZ

If I can sprint for 15km on a single soda can, but have to repair my boots 3 times...something needs to be changed.
-
Personally, my time is valuable, so I would rather keep everything I found as long as possible. I've defended my base shoeless & with a kitchen knife before...IDGAF about Tiers. Like I said, if I have to rotate my stashes every 7 days, then so be it. Base-raiding done easily with duping & infinite tape still in play for now, so I stash.
-
I can agree with that, but only after the Base/building redesign has been rolled-out. Right now, hidden stashes are the safest way to guard your haul (apart from logging out with it) when the servers are stable.

Another example of an unsteady car, this one LUCKILY was a driveaway but it ruined a tire. Cars in general seem to struggle with bridging gaps.

@skJF I feel your pain. Today, I logged in to check on the Olga I assembled last night. It took me a week to find all the parts solo. The thing vanished even after I took countermeasures to prevent it being stolen. Lost 300 slots of gear to as well. This car was to help replace the fleet of vehicles my crew lost. This makes 6 now that have vanished, on a community server, with no wipe by the admin. This just sucks the fun out of the game.

With vaulting officially here, players can experience particular vantage points. Could this be expanded to include going vertical on a tree as well? The reasoning goes without saying why.

I doubt that BI will ever change their priorities. They market towards enticing returning players & attracting new ones.
