  4. New Day Z Playstation Console Servers with Slighly boosted loot. PVP/PPE We have 2 new servers on Playstation, one for the Chernarus map and one for the Lavonia map. There is a credit system to earn in game credits as you play the game and you can use those credits to buy items from the shop list on discord. Were giving 500 free credits to use in the shop to everyone that links their game ID to the discord server. Were still new and our servers are a work in progress, were working out some minor details but we are always open to suggestions from our community on how we can improve and make both of the servers better and fun for everyone. So were definitely open to feedback. As of now were looking to be mainly pvp and ppe with the opportunity to add weekly or bi-weekly raids once our server starts to grow.   5. Thanks for the reply, but you are giving a link to the PC server settings. This option was introduced in patch 1.20 FOR CONSOLES and there is still no documentation.

You spawn in geared with one of three random loadouts M4,AK,AUG. All the weapons on the map spawn full of ammo and pristine.   8. Burnham Test Server - New DayZ Map - PC - US - 67.222.134.19:7015 Burnham test server a new dayz map/server with more animals, tamable dogs and two hidden punchcard military bunkers. There are two major cities and a bunch of small rural towns. The spawn points are set along the south of the map.   10. Our overview ** Sofa_King DayZ: A Vanilla Role Play Experience. Fostering a role play experience as close to official as we can stay while also creating a great learning server thanks to safe zones and our no-kill hostility gameplay rules. One safe zone is a hunting lodge with bears and wolves and other animals to learn skinning cooking and of course shooting. The other a whole town with available residences to new settlers until ready to move on. **Search Sofa_King DayZ on PS community Rules: KOS Zones: Kill-On-Sight allowed in almost half the map (tier 3 loot and up) along with military crashes (planes trains and helis) and static gas zones. PvP Protocol: No kill PvP allowed. Give cooperative victims about 10 seconds to comply with your command. Self-defense permitted, but be fast or good or... dead, I guess. Base Safety: You're safe in your base except during raid events. No more gas over your walls on a Wednesday when all you wanted to do was pick an outfit for Friday night drag races. No building within 300m of military areas. Raid events coming soon. Safe Zones: No hostile PvP in safe zones. Currently Staroye (CTAPOE) and the camp all the way in the north east corner of map. We will establish a rest/safe zone with the massive kos area soon. Respect Policy: Zero tolerance for discrimination. Trash talk is fine and we know role play can go very deep, but don't be a jerk.     Dear Bohemia, please randomize MOTD. I've made a list of 25 quotes for MOTD. But MOTD only uses the first few because it always shows them in the order they're written in serverDZ.cfg Would it be possible to randomize the selection of an entry in the list ? That'd make the MOTD feature much more useful imo. Thank you. Best Regards
  13. Also, just wanted to mention I never see obvious signs of hacking on console, but I hear duplicating is still a big thing on here. I know there were some changes made to discourage alts but they are still a big problem. Idk if there's any getting around that on console though. One more thing I don't currently play on PC but I know that hacks are still a huge issue for official servers, one of my favorite YouTubers (superftlol) says he may be finished making videos for a while because he's so discouraged from getting ESP'd shot through walls, grenades from kilometers away, etc. are there any plans for updating the anti-hacks? FT's idea was to give server control to the community, but I'm personally always against this idea. one of those things that sounds like a great idea until it's implemented hahahaha. thanks for all the hard work devs.
  14. At around 1:40PM est the game stopped responding, couldn't open inventory or interact with anything, could only walk around. I waited about 10 minutes and then restarted the game, it says unable to get servers now. from what I've seen zombies are really aggro this patch? I like it, but I don't think there were any zombie changes so maybe this is just me haha. I would like to see more done on the zombie ai side of things, there used to be huge hordes to deal with, now they just trickle in one after the other usually. It used to be a huge mistake to shoot a loud weapon in the middle of town, now it's just a minor inconvenience. honestly though I'm so happy with the progress this game has made for the 9 or so years I've been playing, like zombies blocking and surrounding the character, that's so cool. This paired with greater zombie numbers and reaction to shots/loud noises would make them terrifying. Other than that I personally think food is still too available and suppressors are way too common, I'd like to hear more shots! Great job devs!

  19. I've heard that vehicles and the world use two different engines. If so, then we have a miracle on our hands - because it actually works to some degree. It may be quite hard to "address" problems with driving in such environment. Game needs a new engine - the one that is consistent, not jury-rigged.

I propose the addition of a new scope specifically designed for Picatinny rails. The current selection of scopes in the game provides great variety, but I believe there's an opportunity to introduce a scope that caters to a different style of gameplay. This new scope could offer a unique balance of features, making it a desirable option for players who prefer versatility and adaptability in their loadouts.     That is just a great news for Vigor, not related to DayZ standalone at all. No worries, this is not affecting DayZ in any way. ❤️ You have the ability to turn the music off. Just go to your settings. We care, but we don't have the option to distribute the soundtrack to console players. Out of curiosity, how long have you owned Livonia DLC? Do you feel like the time on the map was not worth it? Or is the missing soundtrack the issue? Sorry, just trying to understand a bit better.

    SV-98 in the basics has 4x - 8x variable magnification optics. Basically as suggestion devs could add ability for hunting scope to be mounted to the Viver-Picatiny rail system, or finally added proper configs for LongRangeOptics, that's already in the game but that optics shall be mounted to Viver-Pica rail system and that's might be quiet enough. Yes you can add slot for using it on the Viver-Pica, but LongRangeOptics has issue it's located far away from spot for the HuntingOptics in any other cases it's the same. But honestly it would be nicely if devs include the understanding of Mount rings, the 25mm & 30/35mm for the Viver & Hunting mount system... But I'm agreed with you that could be quiet good!
  27. I'm currently in the process of creating my own server in DayZ after 11 years of playing experience. So far, I've configured everything the way I'd like it. However, I'm facing a few challenges for which I haven't found a solution yet: Is there a way to make the zombies run faster by increasing their speed value? Personally, I find the zombies too slow, especially the Mummy Zombie. I'd prefer to make them faster so that players don't have it so easy 🙂 I know there are mods, but I'd like to keep my server completely free of modifications (as vanilla as possible). I've been working on the XML files, performance, and all settings for 3.5 months now, so I've invested a lot of time. It would be great if I could also get a mod-free solution for the last step – the speed of the zombies. Can anyone help me with this?

    You know what would go well with our new exotic long range rifle? The (formerly know as) LONG RANGE scope 🙂 According to "PlentyOMangos" on reddit, the IRL hunting / long range scope would fit the rail the SV uses in-game. Would it be fun? Yes. Would it be realistic? Yes 🙂
