I think the zombie are now tuded down to much, they are easy to get away from and realy make, no trouble. they come after you if sit to long shooting m14. they move to slow like they did that building stuff. I think the zombie need to get back to the crazy run. need to be meaner.

headshot zombies. if you prefer romero zombies just shoot zombies in the head instead of posting mindless suggestionsabout changing the zombies to make the game boring

It'll be much harder as said by rocket in his interviews. Headshot only cannot apply in DayZ because they are not the undead. The "Infected" are still human but with limited intelligence (Able to climb ladders, Open doors, Sprint, and etc. etc) and a more frailer body as it can still die on what normally kill us(Gunshot wounds, Blood-loss, Starvation and etc.) , unlike its undead counterpart. But yea, Zombies in DayZ would be more harder in SA.

Anyway, If you want harder zombies there are private servers there that made zombies run indoors and can attack you while running. Alerting a zombie is a death sentence in that hive.

I don't know about smarter. If they hold true to this genre of zombies, they aren't tactful, but mindlessly aggressive and persistent. That type of behavior needs to be accurately encoded. They need to make it known that they want to rip your face off when they're chasing you. Encounters should be sketchy situations. You should be afraid of such situations and fear for your life during them, be unsure if you're going to make it out alive.

Head shots only, no, however wounds that hurt us shouldn't necessarily hurt them. Keyword is hurt. They are still able to be killed by conventional means being that they are still living humans, however, I don't think someone with mindless aggression would feel pain as we do.

Mix that with what is planned which is smoother animations (no glitchy zig zag, not having to stop to attack), humans not being able to run endlessly, etc. etc. and you'll get the experience you want.
