- The reason why: Because a friend told me of this safe hacker free envoirment... well partly hacker free server, and i'm tierd of beeing teleported to random mexican standoffs with the entire server or getting teleported into the sea or nuked to death or encountering that one player you just can't kill...... I'm hoping this server will serve as a sanctuary for my friends and myself to play, because most of them quit because of the buggers.

It was a bit dark this morning but you could still see very clearly. And indeed its no option for me aswell to stay up till 2 gmt to just experience darkness

The ideal cycle for us at weekends is night time 3am to 9am. Week days we try and do night time 2am to 12pm. The cycle has been a bit been off this week due to me being very busy setting up the dedicated server, we should have a more consistent day night cycle next week as im off work from tomorrow for pretty much the whole of February, muhahaha :)

Oke I am happy to hear I can have some night time on week days but in most days I have some school aswell or work for some people at that time in the morning. Is it maybe an idea to bring up a poll to see how many players like more night so we can maybe get some more night in weekends aswell? I've heard some people that would like to fight other clans at night some time aswell and this will bring a total different play style with it seeing the fact most sniper riffles are pretty useless at night time.

We increase daylight at weekends because players leave when it becomes dark.

I think it's just fun to have clan fights in the dark with snipers that are mostly useless or very hard to use

I was big into DayZ when it was first launched in alpha stage, played it for a long time with a group of friends but got sick of all the hacking. The game got to the stage you couldn't play unless you hacked too and I wasn't prepared to do that so I quit. I've heard recently from my old playing friends about your server and they have been on for a few weeks now and not been hacked once...Sounds good to me so I'd like to come back to this awesome game again.

The server empties when it is dark mate, sorry but I wont be putting it back to the standard 11hrs daylight 13 hrs darkness.
