Anyone noticed high watch spawn rate? I was able to "find" 10 watches in less than 3 minutes...

Played for about 1 hour and 4 little school girls D/C on me. One was in the church, me and my AKM were coming in and saw him, retreated a bit and decided to storm in but surprise...no one there. Another one at the market, he had aggro and saw me approaching, 10 seconds later he was gone. Another one at the Power Plant, he was running from zeds, saw me and 5 second later he was gone. Another school girl was running around town, shot a few fires and a few seconds later buh bye. If you can't handle the heat in Elektro and Cherno stay the f OUT ! On the other hand, some creepy sh*t happend to me. Logged in normally only to find that hourglass (no bleeding) which took about 5 minutes to deplete, when there were like 15 seconds left my character decided to bleed....and died before the hourglass was done. And this after a normal Abort, no aggro or ALT+F4. I dont know, make a "log off button", press it and after say 15 seconds disconnect the player. If the player disconnects any other way screw him. But any solution has its flaws.

This is mostly for those with the retail copies (non-Steam). I've been having a s*it load of issues with the game: errors on the main screen (dayz requiremes CA_Buil....or something with BIN config./) and couldn't join any servers because I was getting kicked all the time. I've reinstalled the game like 7 times but apparently I was doing it all wrong. Here's what you do. Uninstall everything related to ARMA 2, OA and Battleye. Install Arma 2 then install Arma 2 Patch 1.00 to 1.09, then install ARMA 2 Patch 1.10 then install ARMA 2 Patch 1.11, start the game and exit (you really need to start the game !). Install Operation Arrowhead, install ARMA2OA & RFT Patch 1.59, then install ARMA 2: Combined Operations / Operation Arrowhead / Reinforcements Patch 1.60, then start the game and exit. Install DayZ mod Install Arma 2 Game Launcher from here http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241 and follow this tutorial Start the game using the launcher and you shouldn't get any errors (before or after the game starts) everything should work fine. You don't even need to copy the Battleye DLL. I guess the issues with the Retail versions is the patching process, you need to install the patches as I told you or it might not work. where do you see your battleye version?

I already specified I'm not having a firewall and not even a antivirus and both games are non-steam Funny thing is that I was able to join a server and while waiting for the server to respond I saw something like: "You don't need a legit CD-Key" to play on this server but after that "Remember: Illegal copies may degrade". I also don't think this server uses Battleye. So is my key not recognized as being legit or is it something with battleye(which I installed over and over again, and copied client.dll from the official website)?

Hello, I recenty bought Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA, both retail non-steam version. I updated ARMA 2 to 1.11 and OA to 1.60 and successfully linked them together. I then installed DayZ mod but when I try to join any dayz servers I get kicked: "You were kicked off the game". I have reinstalled the games and updated them at least 5 times by now with no success. All dayz servers appear with a yellow question mark and most of them have a @CBA and @JayArma2Lib. So I added those two mods to my game folder but now the servers are all red and the same kick message appear every time I want to join. I've tried installing both games in separate folders and linking them by using the -mod=location to arma 2 and with that sym link tool. Now I've installed both games in the same directory and still I get the same error message. I've also tried updated the game to the latest beta and that didnt fix the kick error. When I check the Expansions in game everything looks OK and @dayz appears in the right corner of the screen. What is the problem? What else should I try? Thank you ! Edit: Forgot to mention that I've copied the latest battleye dll to both arma2 and OA battleye folders. That didn't work as well. PC Specs: i5 2500k HD6590 with 12.4 WHQL 4 GB or RAM direct Internet connection, no modem/router/firewall
