Am I prejudiced?

Recommended Posts

I play on low population servers to avoid hackers, and still occasionally meet enough other

players to keep the game interesting and unexpected. However, if I see a server with two or

more clan members on it (they usually designate themselves with [clan] in their name), I'll just

assume that they are hacking, hoarding, farming and generally up to no good, so I won't join

the server.

Am I being overly cautious or unfairly prejudiced against clan members?

I try to join servers with the most clan people. It's fun to have fights with big groups of people. Never cared for a clan tag, unless it was ARAB. Oh the reactions from patriotic Americans..

overly cautious, I've ran into a few hackers my 2 months playing and every time its a solo punk. Clan interactions with me as a solo player have been interesting. some will help some will just sit back and watch and some will hunt you.

I would say you're being cautious for the wrong reasons. Sometimes, I won't join in a clan laiden server just because it's obvious from the tags where the loyalties of those people lie. I don't assume them to be hacking or up to no good; I just know that to them I'll be a stranger, and most likely be taken out.

Especially now with them burning down our embassy's left and right. Gonna have to go back in there and kick some ass i'm afraid.

I usually don't wear my squad xml when I hack.

I might as well add a j/k disclaimer.

I've managed to become friendly with every clan member I've met while I'm playing making me friendly for everyone in their clan (in every server I go).

But only on servers where side chat is enabled.

That doesn't mean I'm not worried, I've never showed anyone my tent and will never lower my gun. I just don't aim it directly at them.
