Alright, so, you've healed all these people, been friendly, probably died lots, all to get this Hero skin... now what?

Yeah, you look cool but does it give you any benefit over being a bandit and just killing people? (other than the small speed boost)

This has probably been suggested but a Hero should spawn with some sort of pistol maybe? or extra meds? something to justify putting ourselves out there as a "good guy".

I know that I haven't killed someone in cold blood in at least 2 weeks in an effort to be a good guy, and it's getting old getting shot the same amount of times I would if I was a survivor or bandit.

There needs to be something to justify the effort to become a Hero.

Thank you for your time in reading this.

Bandit Medics? Heals all the bandits, aquires a hero skin, dies, respawns with a perk only to help the bandit's. Plus. i don't agree with punishing the bandit style of play, although they're annoying, they're just playing the game along with everyone else. There are no rule's stating that being a bandit is bad. Something to justify the effort of becoming a hero? The hero skin.

The hero needs at least 100k blood, starts with 4 grenades, 3 nvgs, 5 24 slot coyote packs and maybe a tank on spawn.

If you don't want to put in the effort then don't, it's obviously not your preferred play style.

The Hero skin is hardly worth the effort, you get shot the same amount of times and maybe even more since Bandits seek your head as a prize for their mantle piece.

So shoot them first? Correct me if i'm wrong but killing a bandit does not add to your murder rate, and you don't lose any humanity from this. So seek them out, Kill them, Take their shit. Bandits don't get any perks, so why should hero's?

I was not suggesting that at all, I enjoy playing as a "Hero" and attempting to be seen as a good guy, but as of right now, you're not seen as the good guy most of the time so there's no point. I've been killed far to many times by people who thought it was the Bandit skin.

I do actively hunt and kill bandits, it's just, when you're looking through your scope at a survivor or a Hero, who are you more likely to pull the trigger on?

Neither, i wouldn't shoot at all. But looking from a bandit perspective, i guess you're right, I'd go for the hero. But bandits usually travel in groups, so the probability of both surviving is unlikely. I just don't want to punish the bandit style of play, i'm not a bandit myself, but i know a few of them who don't kill fresh spawns and don't shoot on sight.

100% chance of pulling the trigger on both on my end.

What sort of enjoyment do you get from killing players? Eugh, people like you..

Fine as it is.

Other peaceful survivors can recognize you as at least not being a bandit, that's a pretty severe benefit already.

I'm not suggesting we punish the bandit style of play, it gives Heroes much needed opposition. Maybe bandits could have less recoil from weapons or not get as exhausted as normal players so when they lay down to take their shot they can have that extra advantage since that's how they choose to play the game. I know not ALL bandits kill on sight or kill new spawns but you have to remember a lot do.

Silly OP. YOU DO NOT WORK FOR HERO. YOU EITHER ARE OR NOT. AND YOU ARE CLEARLY NOT.

PS. Heroes are also immune to side arms and weak guns unless shot in the head.

Psh, I've always been a quote on quote "hero"... I don't WANT any benefits. I want challenge. I want risk, and THAT is my reward.

Ok, so how about we balance it. Heroes can give themselves blood transfusions, and bandits start the game with a makarov or some other low-end weapon. people stradling the fence..... get their balls crushed, cause, you really shouldn't be sitting on the fence. it's bad for you jewels.

also, if I had designed the new skin for the hero, probably would have given him one of those red cross arm band thingys

No, unless it's balanced for bandits and normal survivors. I not trying to become a hero for the benefits, I'm trying to become a hero to help others.

This is a ridiculous notion. This is not a GAME, this is a SIMULATION. ULTRA REAL. You don't get "Perks," you don't get "advantages," you get jack shit like the rest of us for being a hero. So you help people, nice job. Good for you. You should still get the same opportunities and basic play style as the guy in the ghillie sniping spawns. I think even the small speed boost is bullshit and should be gone. I think the hero's bulletproof vest for 9mm bullets should be gone. I want everyone to be equal, their skin just shows how they play.

He speaks the truth.. there has to be a small perk.. im thinking perhaps the meds idea as its only a small justicfictaion..perhaps a blood bag and epi-pen or morphine.. dunno just something.. no weapons or anything though.. it should defs be an item..
