The Question

My friend and i are arguing at the moment whether sniping is PvP or not.

My Argument

• Sniping is just PvP with you having a major advantage.
  
• You are actually killing other people so it's PvP
  
• Who said anything in life had to be fair?
  

His Argument

• PvP is when the other Player/s actually see you
  
• and i quote "it's rape"
  
• you are never actually seen
  

So can you help us settle the argument???

Sniping is PvP, PvP means Player vs Player, if you are attacking a player it is PvP.

why: Player versus Player means in my opinion the you have a chance to engage. So 2 or more Player taking an ction.

and a *snip* Dead screen apears is only 1 player taking an action so pvv ^^

What's the deal? If you are not careful enough you get sniped. If you are careful you spot the sniper easily before he spots you and you can even kill him without a sniper rifle if you sneak around.

For example. Always before I hit the supermarket or the fire station in cherno up, I climb up a high building and check every other high building to make sure not to get shot.

If you fail to spot the sniper and his first shot misses, he's screwed as well. As long as you keep moving you can get behind cover and see how you outmanouver him. If you are with a friend and one of you have a sniper rifle, the other one can draw his fire out and you will be able to get a clear shot.

Im more afraid of someone with a M4 camping in the supermarket than a sniper.

If you play in areas like Cherno, Electro, Berezino or NW-Airfield you always have to calculate with snipers.
