Sorry to dissapoint' date=' but your off the world base will soon have to be relocated into the map like the rest off us. When it will happen no one knows but it will happen and thank god for that. This isn't Day Z The Hoarding Game its a survival game. Get that tail out from between your legs and stop hiding. Just because you can right now doesn't meant its right.

About adding flashlights to weapons, I think people forget about the G17 and the M4A3 CCO having flashlights on them. I mean, too bad you can't find a roll of duct tape and tape on the regular yellow civilian flashlight, or the military flashlight with the red lens. That'd be kinda badass if you could do something like that, but, who knows if that's even possible with this engine.

A red lens flashlight taped to the end of my M4A1 would be super AWESOME! Me and a friend were talking about this the other night. Also it kinda sucks that holding a flashlight is so limiting. So much so that you have to drop/move your pistol to use it.

I could get with this, as long as it's required to find duct tape and a flashlight first. Let's keep the crafting/scavenging elements going.

Ideally it would be removed, no one can knock you for doing it now, as anyone the least bit organized is doing the same thing. Ideally though, tents can't be setup out of bounds, and vehicles can't be saved out of bounds. If you leave a vehicle out there, it despawns, and respawns in a random location. The hoarding can fundamentally ruin a server. If a crew, that likely runs the server, gets the chopper, they then use the radar to find all vehicles, then use a GPS to put all vehicles and a tent city 10x miles off the map. This server now has no vehicles, as all are hoarded in a unintended "safe zone" for infinity. Anyone who is a true gamer will admit this is at its core "lame".

Argue with that.

If you use the beta (which you will have to' date=' soon, if you don't already), adjusting your brightness/gamma doesn't really do anything.

However, even with the game settings made pretty useless, there is always going to be the option of adjusting monitor settings.

You think so :D ? When the black is truly black (ie 0), no amount of monitor/software driver gamma/brightness fiddling is gonna help you make 1 out of that 0...basic maths.

Problem is that the guys the changes affect (the hoarders) don't seem to understand this because it is so easy to fly out there with a radar and look. Oh wait, you say no respawns and no more helicopters. Oh well tough luck, our server our lewt. We win!! This attitude is becoming more and more of a problem.

The funny thing is they also say you have to do this as a big crew or all your stuff is gone the next day. Funny our "guild" right now has 11 ppl on the same server and our camp is within the map and it has been for about 4 days now. Still safe.

Let em cry and cry, i love it :)

I have wanted to implement the function that nothing outside map boundaries gets its location saved.

So basicly, vehicles moved outside of boundaries will have it's last location saved inside the map boundaries.

We'll see what happens with that though.

I dont understand people wanting the darkness changed. right now with my gamma and hdr turned up I can usually see almost as good as daytime' date=' even with in game clouds and no moon. The Dev's have no control over this. making the night time brighter is just going to make it easier for me to see. why bother having night at all then? maybe some of you prefer to play with the gamma off and simply complain on the forums that it's too dark? what will you do when the brightness is increased and I have even more of an advantage? why no just turn up your hdr and gamma?

I agree, it's too dark. If I didn't my settings wouldn't be cranked. But those of you complaining about NVG players getting the advantage are missing the point by asking for adjustments to light. That advantage is already easily eliminated.

What's the maximum Gamma permitted now? (I uninstalled 825 because of the Script 16 kick bug, has that been addressed?)

I usually play at brightness 0.9 gamma 1.0 so it won't affect me much I guess. Nights are too dark to play, however, and rocket needs to acknowledge this sooner or later.

Now they see based on eye direction, id love a melee attack where you could sneak up behind and club them in the back of the head.
