What do you do when you hit "endgame" status?

If someone can't find something to do, then this is probably not the right game for them. At least it takes most players weeks to figure this out, since they can't seem to live longer than a few hours.

Generally we just bitch on TS about the bugs, what should be/shouldn't be in the game, while running around the north, hoping to encounter another squad to engage(win or lose, we still hope for the action).

Blow things and people up with satchel charges set bear traps in random places and snipe, try to think of things to do with vehicles like do epic jumps off the docks into the sea in my ATV or parachute jump from my heli while flying solo and parachute land on the roof of the international hotel, try to set a target for zombiekills in one session eg 1000 kills etc etc. I will be very glad when the standalone comes out and we can build underground bases and what not

For me, there is no 'endgame', or atleast I have not come upon it yet. Or maybe it's the "You are dead"-screen, I dunno. I'm not one to hunt down players for the heck of it, so the 'gear' really doesn't have much value for me. Sure I have a weapon to defend myself if shit hits the fan. I might start helping random people, if the odds of not getting shot in the face would be bigger. But if (and when?) the day comes that I can't find something 'new' to do, I'll probably just find some creative way to off myself and start over.

Getting vehicles and not hiding them. Fix it up, blow it up, or park it on a main road near Kamenka for someone to find and get trashed. I like the idea of stuff happening in the game, and having all the busses and trucks parked permanently up by Pobeda Dam makes that less likely. So I go find camps with vehicles, get one for each guy I'm with, blow up the rest and head for the coast, honking and partying the whole way. If we die, no sweat. If we live, we fill the car with volunteers and go do something stupid.

Dont worry, its not there anymore. A few days ago a hacker came and teleported all vehicles to a field north of Stary Sobor. That created some interesting moments, to be sure. It was a couple days of excitement around that neck of the woods, and for Giggles I pushed a boat with the V3s down into a Stary tent. BTW, boats can do some serious stunts, much like an ATV when you hit them, except boats dont blow up when they crash back to earth. I think our next event will be Vehicle Soccer using a boat.

Going to have to load up with a AKM or something to protect my self but there's not much else to do with the bus. Maybe get some of my squad to kill all the guys on top of cherno/elektro roofs to get a easy run in

Yeah, that's the sort of thing I'm talking about. Two tractors? Hippie bus? Just parked out there? Your trophy room impoverishes the whole server, taking a big chunk of the most interesting gameplay and social dynamics out of action. It's the least interesting thing you could possibly do with vehicles in DayZ. I'd firebomb that in a second, and take off on the dirt bikes. Next server restart there would be eight new vehicle spawns for people to cooperate and compete for, giving the server a big shot in the arm.

Nothing. You do nothing, and that's why I hate it. I held "endgame status" for about a month or two with my clan, and all we did was horde vehicles, kill people on the coast, etc. We were just general bandits to try and find something to do. Ever since the clan just kind of fell apart due to hackers, I haven't had anything, so I decided to help people instead. Honestly, it's more fun than the "endgame". The other day I found a V3S only missing 2 of the middle tires, so I drove it down the coast giving people rides until I got taken out by some Bandit in a lag spike. Plus, the Hero skin is cool. Banditry is lame nowadays.

Well, I jumped a V3s once. My friend had a helicopter to the gas station in solnichny, and I had just finished repairing the V3S, so I rode it full speed, got about 3 seconds of air, landed next to the chopper, and yelled "WHAT'S UP BITCHES"

To be able to say you have hit endgame, you need:

-Military primary weapon, secondary weapon with at least 12 magazines of for each. If either of the weapons are SD, you need SD mags as well.

-Have in your possession a Ghillie Suit, Camo Clothes, and Civ Clothes

-Have at least one weapon in your possession that is classified as "Extremely Rare" such as the FAL or L85.

-A full tool belt with every tool

-Rangefinder and Night Vision Goggles

-A tent

-You need to no longer use soda/cans of food, but survive off Canteens and Cooked meat

-Have at least 1 Antibiotics and Mountain Dew

-Have a vehicle, fully repaired and fueled that is NOT a helicopter

-Have a fully repaired and fueled Helicopter

-Have either the Hero Skin or the Bandit Skin

-Have killed at least one player

-Have killed at least 500 zombies

-Have at least 25 in-game days played

-Have visited ever major town/city/airfeild, looted and made it out alive

If you have all that done, do it all again on Lingor and Utes.
