Baralai 14 Posted September 1, 2012 Honestly, there is no safe place for a chopper besides being in the air already. Placing it inside the map (not near debug) might get found pretty fast due to the size of it and hiding it near debug will result in the same due to people looking for tents. Choppers are just too big to literally hide and not be found for days on end. Personally I had mine around 072015 (or somewhere near that location, big flat open field surrounded by forests). Only problem was it was stolen pretty damn fast, only lasted 2 nights there before being discovered. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pony Vests 13 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) An island is about the safest place for a heli (not Skalisty). Just make sure you have a friend with a boat come grab you, otherwise you will lose everything while swimming.Or you could take the ballsy route and hide it inside the church like some people tend to do. Meaning the hotel and a few other buildings that have flat roofs, TBH I once saw one on top of a supermarket. it might be open in sigt but still unreachable by most. agippo 37 Posted September 2, 2012 Yeah, dont sweat trying to hide your chopper in the games current incarnation. On the odd occasion I have found or fixed a vehicle, It has never been there once I spent anytime away from the game. Just enjoy it while you have it.I also did think of the unreachable rooftop as a good "hiding" place for a chopper. But there are too many trolls in the game. Lupin-III 44 Posted September 2, 2012 There's no point in hiding them. A hacker will teleport to it and take it as soon as you step out. Get your kicks with it, then blow it up... fly it a mile up into the sky and bail out, or just leave it for someone else to use. If you're gone for any amount of time, someone will find it.
