Camping towns/airfields

Question for the fellow bandits. Whats the high traffic areas other then Cherno and Electro. At the moment me and the guys camp Cherno but its very risky due to lack of good spots. (Not saying there aren't any just a lack for a 4-5 man team)

Yeah I'm just curious as to another high traffic city or airfield to camp. NW is almost always empty on high population servers. And well Cherno isn't the best spot for high tier equipment.

PS: Beans for a fan of the Mk 48. I try to rock Mk 48, M249, or M4/M16 variant in that order.

I hear Stary is a pretty high traffic area, at least the market and the Military encampment there. Ummm......If you find a camp up north, camp it and see if anyone shows if the server is really populated, you might have a firefight on your hands there. Berezino is a good one for high geared players as it is the Northernmost city with a hospital. I'm actually new to banditting, but this is just what I know from seeing players a lot.

I have the Mk 48, but I let my spotter use it as I'm using the SVD camo. Try the three towns on the west side of the mark with grocery stores. Go to high pop servers and just camp there. They ain't high traffic, but you'll catch quite a few people there over time.

We have, no joke, camped a town for 4hrs just to get 2 kills. As you can see, we have no problems waiting out the prey. Thanks for the locations. I'll be sure to give it a shot.

Only down side to the Mk48 is the tracers. If a 3rd party spots them he can range me for a shot :/

Depends where you camp in Stary, camping campers is so easy there at 1000+ metres away. People always go over the hill behind the tents without a care in the world, and others even sit there camping with AS50s at 200 range.

If you have any smarts in the game you would enter from the south, scope out the sniper hill from there, that is just north of the tents, then the rock to the west and then search tents. Most idiots charge into there. Also the metal barn should be checked.

man if you want to hide in a high traffic area try zelenogorsk, i see people come through in cars very often even saw a helicopter make a fueling run which is pretty risky in that area in general

That's why you don't camp in the places you mentioned :) I always begin my sniping by clearing my competitors hiding north of stary. If you camp ~1km from the city you have a fair chance you will survive longer. Although that seemed to be the case a month ago. Now, when cod/bf kiddies took over the game is just big deathmatch in cherno/elektro with hardly anyone coming to stary or nw airfield. Except for the snipers ofc :) So if you have thermal you can countersnipe the shit out of them.

now this is why I have an as50 I wait for the fully kitted up people to come past the mountain in between cherno and elektro and POW now i just give out the location on teamspeak, plus i've got a tent just filled with crappy weapons, server gets wiped at 12pm tonight anyways so im gonna have to hunt for as50 mags for a bit

love the lmgs in this game - 249 is great for suppression if you're deathmatching against another squad, but if you're going it alone or with 1 other bandit you need the higher damage of the 48/240. can't tell you how many people i've gotten the drop on and had alt-f4 out with the 249.

The L85 really helps counter sniping. I'm very impressed with this weapon.

yeah bro i found most of my gear up there didn't even have to look to hard there is a little platform like thing about 300m up always barb wire in your camps guys

It is like every idiot on these forums thinks anyone who plays differently has to love CoD (refuse to even acknowledge your slight of Battlefield by putting it in the same sentence). CoD was a good franchise that has fallen off in recent years and I can bet anything that the majority here have liked a version of CoD (mine was CoD 4 the first Modern Warfare, the new ones are not my style). Just because you got shot does not mean the person likes CoD or is a child, I am a 28 year old who hates the recent CoD and I will shoot you on sight the majority of the time because I have actual friends both in the game and in real life who play the game, so I do not need you as part of my group. Stop being butthurt and blaming everything on CoD, it has way more to do with duping making gear common, graphic bugs in Stary and NWAF making the north useless, and hackers.

berezino and zelenogorsk are maybe the most touched by high geared..i think people started to avoid military places since the artifact thing..now maybe they'll come back..i always see someone near polana and in the hills north of cherno..mogilevka and shitty places like that..

We just tried this out yesterday....Kinda reckless but we destroyed a chopper/bus. Fix a car and just drive around from nwaf/stary/cherno/balota. We heard a chopper, followed it saw them looting a crash site killed em all blew it up. We would get out a few hundred meters of the towns and scope it out before going in though. We liked how everything turned out till a scripter ported our car somewhere.. I had my spotter with a mk48 and I was using an as50/cco sd. I stayed away from elektro just because of all the snipers on the hill and no heat scope to find any of them..

Identify the major travel routes between hot spots camp them. Or, find low pop servers and hit said hot spots.
