you don't even have to do all those steps. As soon as you get ported in the air, Switch to a server that you know youll load into quick. Before you reach the ground abort and re-join. and boom you'll be safe on the ground.

I had a hacker teleport my me while I was in a car, I aborted and I was stuck in a sitting motion in the air. I had a friend shoot me put me in shock I left and came back I passed out and was on the floor. I then had him drag me around till I came back to senses, still couldn't move so we did it again and that did the trick!
