I uninstalled and reinstalled Bliss 3.6 and that seems to have fixed my "wait for host" problem!

No there's no way to enable side chat without voice.

"cannot find central directory" issue -

Submit a ticket and we'll take care of it. This is an account specific question.

"wait for host" issue -

Please follow the instructions to update to v3.6. If you have 3.6 already installed from mod manager, uninstall it and start from step 1.

Still having the issue? Submit a ticket.

"tent not saving / work on restart" issue -

If you don't have a ticket open for this please open one and I'll get on your server on test. I'm not seeing this issue from my end yet.

All of the questions I've asked here are on a ticket, the same ticket that has been open since this mess started. The reason I post them on here is to get a faster response(I don't feel like waiting 24 hours, or longer), and so that people can accurately see what the customer experience is like.

Any ETA on Bad Gateway 502?

Any ETA on map tool?

Is people dying when they log in since Bliss v3.6 a known issue? Not that common but 1 in 10.

Sorry but I am not going to do a support ticket again they don't get answered quick enough and last time I asked about Gateway 502 you said your working on it. 2 days ago and it is getting worse day by day.

502 errors - working on it, no known fix yet

map tool - working on it, - at most a few days

People dying - no idea, submit a ticket so we can check into your server, this is an account-specific question

If you don't submit a support ticket there's no way we can look into your server.

To fix the 502 bad gateway error you guys need to add more php-fqm worker threads so nginx doesnt overload the php backend. Your web server seems fast when it does respond so it isn't a resource problem.

I could probably fix your map tool too, we just needed to add a couple JOIN's to ours.

Thanks for the input. We are very aware of this and that's not the issue. There's a highly trafficked website also on the same servers our web server is hosted on. If the 502 issues maintain even after some optimizations on the other website, we'll switch our survivalservers.com domain to another server.

Simply put, like I said, there is a ticket for it. It's a ticket that is now over a week old for ongoing problems I have had with your service. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect my server to work right after over a week of back and forth on that ticket.

I should also mention that when the server WAS running and we just didn't have tents, this is the response I got:

"Can you try placing a new tent and let me know what happens?

I've been testing extensively all day and haven't had any issue with new tents.. Let me know."

Except it wasn't tested extensively. The server was never restarted during that "testing" to see if tents would stick around.

A few days?! It says down for maintenance not we're taking it down for a few days. Some communication this was going to happen would have been nice.

Quick update regarding Lingor:

- rMod is not supported on Lingor 1.0 at this time :(

- There's a bug when trying to play Lingor with side chat / rMod turned off. We're fixing this right now

Either be patient with us and wait the 12-24 hours for each response (a response does not mean a resolution of the problem) or I recommend you find another host. Since this is a new issue we'll provide additional compensation for the added days of downtime which would be another few bucks.

That says its being worked on not being taken offline. You really need to work on your communication, I understand your trying to improve things and I appreciate that but its frustrating having something else all of sudden not work as its supposed to.

You also said you said you've tested it extensively all day and haven't had an issue with new tents. Did you test it extensively on my server? Maybe an imaged copy of my server? On a server with the exact same configuration and prior issues? Maybe you need to evaluate your QA process.

Look, all I care about is getting a server working reliably. Simple as that. As far as I'm concerned, it's all one issue because all of the problems began when you deployed all those new features. If things get fixed up and everything works, then that's great.

In the meantime, I am shopping around for better service, and I'll be talking with my friend that I split with on the server costs. I'll be sure to let you know if we decide to cancel our service.

My issues have been fixed, placed tents are sticking around after restarts, and I can actually play on my server, which is a huge plus. I appreciate the very fast response time to this issue. The ticket response was helpful and informative. I hope that the quick response isn't a byproduct of my bitching about your service, and is instead a sign of overall better customer service.

I apologize for letting my temper get the best of me, but I did spend a week having to complain on forums and comment on a ticket instead of enjoying a game that I like.

I hope everything works out for everyone, and us as well if we decide to stay with your company.

I just did a test run and using the tools removed our tents. So this is where we are losing our tents. Are you guys aware of this ? I'll put it in a ticket as wellI

I restarted the server today 3 times and not once did we lose the tents. I just ran the dayz tools and boom the tents were gone. Hope that helps narrow down the cause.

Just curious, anyone have a script to bring the old tents from the other DB to the new one? mine didnt transfer. I tried moving them manually, but PHPmyadmin being a bitch with bad gateway everytime.

Why didn't you stay in Bliss 3.4? Since you updated Bliss and all that shit you destroyed my server.

Now everything is working as shit. Can't change my server timezone whatever I do, it's fucking dark on my server at the hours when I have the higher player activity.

Confirmed: you were the best server hoster and now you are the worst server hoster. I recommend everyone not to rent a SurvivalServer, it is absolutly CANCER.

Seeing this as well, I'm pretty sure that it shouldn't be pitch black out at 11am. My ticket is #620884

make sure you change your timezone in TC admin AND DayzTools. Only way it worked for me. the Dayzadmin controlled the spawn times, the one in TC admin controlled the daylight for me.

Edit, nevermind, neither of them are effective anymore.

I'm not sure what happened but for some reason after a restart this morning our server has been stuck on night time. I have tried changing the timezone in dayz tools as well as TCAdmin and it doesn't have any effect. Ticket ##836021
