dayz stand alone new map?

hay guys just add some ideas if you think there should be a new map or not, and what new locations this map should contain e.g.

police stations, malls, underground sewers, underground train stations, underground military complex, banks etc.

get creative with the ideas such as the above, where should the new map be located e.g. new zealand!??! or just a completely fictional place??

i would also love to see some fan art of these new locations for the new map im sure it will help the development team in some way :D

Standalone is going to use a new/modified version of the current map, referred to as “Chernarus Plus” with more enterable buildings, more detail, and even entirely new areas. New maps are part of the plan for standalone in the future.

It is not on the exact arma 3 engine, though it is oin an individual branch of the Virtual Reality (I think is the name) Engine. Using this independent branch will give Rocket almost complete freedom when customizing thing slike zombie animations and movement, character animations, etc.

I also voted for porn. Ideally a randomly generated map would be best but that is a very big ask, if every server generated it's own new map once a week or so it would level the playing field amongst the players quite a bit.

I was highly in favour of per-server generated maps but I'm in two minds about it now. I still love hearing stories about sniping in Electro or getting ambushed at NWAF and everyone understanding what you mean. Chernarus+ still sounds like a great idea as long as there is enough randomly generated content to keep you guessing what you'll find next i.e: More features akin to the crashed helis.

It is amazing how quickly a 225km map becomes second nature to navigate and thus becomes old.

The engine will run on a mix of the ArmA 3 and ArmA 2 engine.

I would love to have Chernerus+ and some more maps, one in The Netherlands would be cool, since i live there!

yes i like to troll :P but i would like to see shit like the 1 i actuarially linked. and more diverse areas in the new map, besides woods, small towns, military bases and big cities i want them to get creative and really bring the city to life etc.

This. I also down want another map because having 1 big map to explore is more than enough.

Current Chernarus with some expansions on sides. A big modern(ish) city would be nice with a big supermarket not just "local store".

Police stations with weapon and ammo loots, underground areas like caves, military or shelter base.

A laboratory with medical and chemical loot. Idk if it would be good to have some chemicals which u can use. For example you can combine 2 chemicals that together make a smoke bomb or something like that.

Also, there should be more water sources like a lake or a river where you can fill your bottle.

Maybe some more and a bit bigger islands would be nice.
