Cheers for giving me a bit of proof to get this server blacklisted mate, you aren't allowed to do that. You are sealing your 'new friends' servers fate :D any more stories where they did such a thing?

There were only two people in the server that were not in our group, and it is logical to assume they were the two guys on the hill trying to snipe me; consequently, they were more than likely the ones who blew us to hell with their nuke when they got bored of sniping. Tell me, were you one of them? Because you certainly have the personality that says "I'm a griefer, kick me please". Antogonize the nice guys, attempt to incriminate them, stir up drama, defend the hackers, talk about getting legit servers shut down because they have to kick hackers, etc.

The kick was easily justified, regardless of your ignorant responses. I encourage you to play the game fairly, if you were involved with this incident. Whether you were involved or not, you make it obvious that you support hacking in general. It is not cool to ruin other people's experiences, whether in game or by trolling on forums.

I don't hack, I don't condone hacking, and I never will hack. Go and read the 'server rules' made by rocket. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO KICK SOMEONE UNLESS YOU HAVE 100% SOLID PROOF THEY ARE HACKING. You can't kick based on an assumption, and you also can't turn off the server because your buddy died/you are being shot at (which there is already solid video proof of said thing happening.) On the same token you can't kick someone because they shot you, either.

Also; it's kinda funny you call me ignorant, when you instantly start assuming I am part of whatever it was that went down, that kinda makes you the ignorant one, I am simply gathering facts about this corrupt server to get it blacklisted so we don't have idiots like the admins here running around with their own business, so I am the opposite of what you tried to brand me as thank you very much.

In summary, there are bandits and hackers plaguing this place constantly, and if you get hacked/sniped, it is most likely not the colony members doing it. I personally watched them help one total newb, and give assistance to two others throughout the course of the night. These guys are legit, stop giving them flak. The bandits are the normal fagtarded bandits there to ruin everyone's day because they have nothing better to do, and the hackers blowing people up and kill scripting are not associated with members of this colony. The other posters in this thread that are accusing the colonists of hacks, are most likely the hackers that keep blowing the place up.

You haven't been with them like I've had. They banned me from the colony for "theft" when I know I didn't steal anything and all they can say is "You had NVG's and a Coyote pack when you left." They can't even provide any real proof, just their words! And here I was thinking I could help these guys out.

Ice, I hope when I make the thread on the report forum you will be there to back me up with your evidence, they can't ban you for something they put in the game themselves!! (trading) You can't get banned for stealing even if you did, the server admins just bought a server and think they can do whatever they want, as if all the servers aren't linked up or something.

I wasn't banned from the server, I was banned from the colony with threats that I will be shot on sight. All I wanted to do was to join and help these guys out, but now seeing what they do to players like me, I don't want anything to do with them.

I was there today, I am the "naked" survivor who was provided some nice gear (in fact i was pretty astonished aswell about the kindness). There have been really nice guys on the server taking me for a ride to the NWAF (until the hacker came as Angel already told) I have been on the Server for more than 4 hours. During these four hours i were killed 3 times by Hackers and once by a Sniper (I was naked...).

The problem is that this server faces huge amounts of hacking attacks. It's incredible and IMO it is very hard to administrate this server for these guys. I've seen them acting and I've seen that they do not just "restart" the server on any whatsoever encounter. They try hard to keep things serious which needs a strong hand and sometimes they might judge wrong in some guys cases, but I personally prefer 1 guy too much banished from the server (theres still 1000 more out there, dont hang around on a server where people dont want you to be anyways) instead of 1 hacker thats running around unbanned.

And @ Aeia, all you reach by posting all these flames over and over again is that everyone sees how incredibly immature you are. There's 1000 more Servers out there and even if you dont hack, I have to *Thank you, Admins!!* for having banned a player as intolerable as that guy! I wouldnt want to play with him on a server at all :D *thumbs up*

The server is linked to the master server, if this group of people want to play together without hackers, they should password it. This kind of thing WILL NOT WORK when they are restarting the server after being picked off by two legit snipers!! Go back to around page 5 or 6 I believe, where it's one guy aiming his L85 at the head of one of the 'colony', for 10 min there's no problem with the server, then as soon as he gets capped, the server loses connection? Yeah okay. Stop backing them up because they helped you when that isn't even part of the problem, the problem is they are abusing admin to ban/kick 'hackers' when they don't have proof (which is massively against the rules)

I logged into US1040 to check out the colony as a fresh spawn, I by chance i spawned next to someone from the colony and asked if they cared if I checked it out. Within 2 minutes a helicopter came and picked us up. They geared me up and took me on some looting runs.

It was unfortunate that later the helicopter thought that the guy who took me in was a zombie and shot him down. I never got a chance to say thanks!

Was my best DayZ experience Ive had in the game thus far. If you are nice and polite and willing to help they will take you in and make sure you are prepared to help defend and loot!

We had 100% proof. We were not killing ourselves, therefore it was the other guys. Simple math dictates this, as does common sense. You are trying to incriminate the nice guys, which is indirectly supporting the hackers. Not so sure why you are making a big deal out of self defense against hackers who nuke and killscript constantly.

I am not assuming anything, nor did I post as such. I simply said that if you were involved, you need to stop, and that your personality is very similar to that of a griefer. In the hours that I played with them, wherein we were nuked, killscripted, and sniped constantly, they only reset the server once, and that was because half of the map was on fire. You are throwing false accusations around like candy. Start gathering evidence against the nukers and killscripters instead of wasting your time trying to get the helpful people banned. Even if you succeed, there are several in that group who would be happy to host another server and pick up where he left off (i.e. helping newbies and banning hackers).

I honestly cannot fathom why you spend so much time trying to incriminate the innocent while ignoring the hackers. If you have seen The Dark Knight Rises, there is a scene where the police ignore several armed robbers making a getaway so that they can chase batman instead because it provides better media. That's exactly what you're doing, and you're even posting on the forums about it.

Wow, so much butthurt on this thread. I can't imagine how hard it would be to administer this server with how many people hack. If you're pissed off because you tried to raid and were misidentified as a hacker, I honestly don't feel sorry for you. I'm sure some people who have attacked this camp are actually RP'ing, and that's cool and probably makes the game way more fun.

Has anyone who's complaining about admin abuse noticed how many times people report being attacked in this colony without witnessing an immediate restart? I'm pretty confident that most of the people who are crying and complaining are the kind of bandit that has a really weak ego, and the second something goes differently than they want it's someone else's fault. These kind of bandits are normally still cool because they make the game challenging and dangerous. On the forums they just make it hard for a server that's trying to do something interesting and incredibly difficult to not have some sort of corrective action taken against them due to false claims of abuse.

It's amazing how many people see a server where they know things will be crazy, join up, something crazy happens, and they cry foul. It's also amazing how many hackers and complainers seem to hate the idea of people enjoying the game in their own way.

US 1040, I hope things start to go better for you in the future. Next time I die, I'll probably head there naked just to say hi and enjoy the show.

-Walk on the road (ONLY THE ROAD)

-Keep your gun down or on your back at all times.

-Stand outside the gate and use voice or text chat to make contact with security

-Get on teamspeak and tell security your coming

Don't

------

-Check out the colony from afar

-Run around anywhere in visual range of the colony

-Start opening tents without permission

-Spawn near the colony

Doing the above will ensure you don't get killed by the security. Nothing will save you from bandits tho, so don't cry if you get shot.

Also... I survived being teleported :D sucked for the rest of the server tho.

Ya, this one video shows a restart that can IN NO WAY be random that clearly happened ONLY BECAUSE they'd just started shooting (with no confirmed kills or damage). From this one video it is obvious that there is RAMPANT admin abuse on this server. Clearly we must have immediate action for these HEINOUS crimes.[/sarcasm]

Honestly, I read about this 1040 colony. I thought it was a good idea, no matter how newish it was. Then I read about all the bullshit admin abuse. So I rallied my team and we were going to assault it. my sniper team was then barraged by intense grenade fire. We pull out and managed to survive and cancel the assault. So I go back the next day, with nothing but a happy sock and a dmr. I see two clowns at the first story of the factory, one in a gillie and one hero. I shoot one of them, wait, and his butt buddy runs up. I take him out. One wasn't dead, he disconnected like a little bitch, and comes right back in. Johnny and theduck, rip. I ran up and hid their bodies and went on my merry way. I felt bad about my outright banditry, but it's rationalized on how many people were wrongly banned and the other bull shit that is rampant on this server. I'll post a video later.

Nice, so you attempt a raid, fail, and then return later and kill two guards. What's the point of posting a video of that? There was no admin abuse. If it was so "rampant" on the server, why did you not get wrongfully banned and the server reset after you killed them? Oh right... because you play legit.
