Do you ever reconnect to get rid of zombies

Sometimes i get a real big bunch of them om my ass because i accidently fired my gun and im sick and tired of of running, so i relog to make them go away. Is this considered cheating? Do you ever do this?

It's considered weak behavior.

I find them so easy to lose that I don't bother.

I prefer to play out each life, though, and not take advantage of the ability to disconnect in any situation.

When I am ready to stop playing, I head into the woods, find a good spot off the beaten track, and disconnect there.

I don't do it myself, it kind of ruins the value of game-play when you do things that exploit. I wouldn't consider it cheating though, you're just doing something that half of everyone else is doing anyways.

That is exploiting a game mechanic, no better than Alt F4ing to get away from being shot/killed. You might as well start duping items and server hop to get behind people.

I do not do this zombies are easy to kill or hide from. Simply run into the woods and circle and zig zag around and through trees they will be gone in a matter of seconds. Or run through a tunnel/building.

Once the zombies no longer have sight on you, stop running press X to crouch run away.

Only when they aggro unfairly, *Example, me and my friend were crouchwalking around elektro at night on the sidewalk, the zombies in the middle of the street did not aggro on us but the ones a block away did* or when something like barbed wire is blocking the entrance of the building I wanted to lose them in. Edit, another reason, when the graphical glitches get really bad and I can barely see, then I get aggro'd on and have no idea what to do.

Absolutely not. Had a harrowing experience two nights ago, bandit came up behind me, he fired, I fired back. I ended up killing him but the sound of the gunshots brought about 20 zombies running after little old now broken-legged 6k blood me. It was quite a last stand blasting them with my M9SD until I'd burned through every single mag I had, which killed the last aggro zombie on the last bullet. Then I bandaged and another one aggroed me and I thought i was screwed cause my MK48 would have brought another 50 or so with me having no ability to run. I ended up rolling up the hill with E to get away from the one that aggroed me and he backed off. Ended with like 4.2k blood. It was intense, and yes, I may have died and lost my character with all my gear and 650 zombie kills with 7 days of survival, but I stayed in and accepted that risk, it's part of the game and TBH is quite an adrenaline rush when you make it. Hell it's even a rush if you go down in a blaze of glory.

Nah, they are easy to ditch. Usually when I get a bunch of Zombies on me Ill just start running around town looking for a building and ducking behind houses. You'd be surprised how easy they are to ditch, plus you can utilize the mistake and get to know the layout of the town better. If you manage to get away you know exactly where to go look for loot.
