*Latest patch made Zombie "Clipping" worse!

Zombies not only see/hear you while in buildings...

They "Teleport" and "Clip" into buildings, through floors, walls, doors, and rooftops!

They can also attack you through all the above now as well :(

**Can you PLEASE FIX this terrible issue in the next patch Rocket?

It's REALLY ruining the game more than any other issues!

Other than that I'm amazed and impressed at the work you and the team are doing! KEEP IT UP! :D

^^^ what are you going on about... I've been able to survive just fine inside buildings.

The zombies still politely use the doors

I did see one zombie walking around ontop of a building last night, but that looked like a self contained glitch.

Have yet to see anything zombies 'warping' through walls. If you're backed right up against an exterior wall, yes they will smack you... but that has been there since the beginning

And to the haters' date=' there is only so much the mod can do for the capacity type bugs. We need to wait till the new ArmA2 Beta is out for the delays with waiting for server response. Generally now people aren't having a problem anyway.

Not sure if this was a response to my question or not (as I was the last to mention the waiting for issue).

I'm not a hater - I'm a supporter.. I was offering help if it was needed I'm all for this mod and would do anything to help even if it was to provide some server racks as I have resources/access to this in multiple countries.

Don't mistaken help from criticism, many years in development will teach this. Criticism is actually a blessing in the development industry, helps us grow.

Old system of gear was eating performance, because there had to be timed checks if you are bleeding and you have proper item in gear. I assume that has to be done for each possible action, so loss of performance is obvious.

I think that it should be ok only for bleeding, but on the other hand it will be also confusing for new players. He will bandage because it is in action menu and then he will be shaking or something and player will still don't know how to use proper items and where.

On third hand, in real time, sometimes you don't know what is wrong with you. And you need time to get knowledge about those aspects, like how to use morphine or epinephryne. It is real that this isn't obvious for new players. The less hints in game what you should do, the better IMHO.

Well since the patch EVERY game I've joined and EVERY building I'm in I've had this issue.

I'll film the issue tonight and post it if I must...:huh:

I was on a rooftop and a zombie ON THE GROUND teleported up to me and killed me from behind!

I've been in houses and they no longer open the doors...they just come through the ground and walls.

It's really ridiculous... :(

Hmm, I would like to see this video...

It sounds like you either have a really REALLY crappy connection, or some other host of black magic


Thread is moving so quickly its hard to remember what page Rocket posted the changelogs on.

Eventually I'm sure we'll see final changelogs posted in stickies per, instead of this mish-mash where a changelog gets posted 45 pages in

I'm increasing antibiotic drop rate in the patch. The infection doesn't do much yet - it is more annoying, gives away your position, can increases the chance someone around you will get infected.

But what I would like to hear, is how you dropped down to below 28. Was it reasonable how you got to that low temperature?

Well, we mostly play at night, and we don't have a strong enough connection to play on servers that are in other countries (i.e. other timezones), so every time I log on, my temperature is the same from the last time, so over two days (about four hours, roughly) of playtime, our respective temperatures dropped. I've found one thing of wood, but no matches, and I dropped the wood afterwards to make room for some food that I found. I've never had time to play in the day, and no luck finding fire materials at night...so...constant temperature drop... then infection/cold. My brother, who travels with me, has the exact same issue.

Re: changelog on first place and updated one in the middle of the thread, you can click Rocket's name anywhere he posted, and SEARCH for all his posts easily. Best to keep up to date with development.

updating of first post would be easier. but then again, these are fairly frequent updates from the main developer - if you cant be bothered keeping up, you will always find out when its actually updated

Take it easy Rocket Balboa just punch them haters and drain their tears.

As for the bugs that are around right now. Adapt and Conquer. Getting butthurt about stuff not being fixed yet doesn't get you anywhere its still in Alpha. Beta is where all the bugs will get fixed. Alpha is about adding new features testing shit out removing things that dont fit or just dont work for the mod.

I think anywhere you would think would have first aid should have them:

1. Hospitals - is a given.

2. General stores - should have rudimentary first aid supplies so yeah.

3. Fire Stations - very under used buildings and would defiantly have lots of first responder medical supplies.

4. Churches - Many churches deal with catastrophes and the homeless I would expect them to have to things to warm up / keep warm.

How about zombie spawning on top of us? It really fucks you over when you're sneaking around a town and a zombie spawns on you, either insta-aggroing or just completely screws up your path.
