Same problem just happened to me.. Been stuck on the loading screen for 20 minutes now...

Maybe we need to reset our character?? Where's an admin when we need them..

same problem here, today i reinstalled everything including arma2, arma2oa and dayz and still no effect, but i have realised that the only servers that i can connect to are private hive servers so i has to be a hive thing

Getting stuck on the "Loading with Bar" seems to be the result of being kicked while loading in.

Try joining a server and sitting in the lobby before joining game, do you get kicked from the lobby after a few minutes?

I get "You were kicked from the game: BattlEye Client not responding" and end up back at the server browser.

If I try to join a game Im forever at Loading with a full bar. I think this is because im kicked whilst loading.

Yea this is complete crap, im sure its an easy fix too. 1. Type player id 2. Delete data. 3. Problem solved we go on with our lives. At this point i dont even care if i have gear.

It's not an internet issue, explain to me then why I can use my friends steam account and play just fine because it's tied to different hive data, but when I use my steam account to play I get stuck at loading.. It's already been confirmed to be corrupt hive data.. we're now just trying to get a dev's attention so they can reset us. Perhaps I shall make a new thread for those that specifically have just the corrupt hive data stuck at loading issue.

Ok so i was fed up with this so i decide to search around about how to get another character and found these

You only have to buy Operation Arrowhead which is $20 on steam and is the best solution for me right now

If you follow these instructions it will work but you will have a new character.

Gentlemen(and ladies?),

This is what I have found so far....

First and foremost, make sure that you have installed everything correctly... These suggestions are for those of us that have played in the past, and have now come across this loading screen problem for one reason or another.

1. Check your mods folder for the Weapons.pbo File and make sure that it does not read 36,500k as that seems to cause a problem.

Replace that file with this one http://www.dayzmod.c...2.4-Weapons.zip

This should have an uncompressed size of 36,538KB

2. Make sure you are running the latest version of the Beta Client, and that its verified on the right side of the screen at arma startup.

3. Make sure that your Battleeye client is up to date. Upon joining a server, be sure that you can see the battleeye client registering, and downloading the new client file if needed. You should be initialized before try to join the game from the server screen.

4. If all this fails, and you still get stuck loading, Try to join a server with a private Hive. There are a handful of servers with private hives that work well, but you need to make sure that they are running the same version of the Beta, and DayZ Mod.

If you can connect to a private hive, that means that your character data has become corrupt for some reason or another. Mine is corrupt, and I used to be sent to a debug field,but an update hung me at the Black loading screen(No Bar). My issues started with a super odd death, clipping through the ground, and being unable to actually Die... I had to force quit to get out of the server.

I have successfully been able to join many servers with private hives, and play again. I'm now working with the Dev Team to get my character data reset on the public hive to be able to play on normal servers.

That's the one I used. The only downside is that I can't go into other servers that haven't updated yet without experiencing the loading screen as well. I'm also in the debug plains for an eternity, unfortunately, and I have yet to find a way out whilst debugging my bugged status.

I just updated to 1.7.2.5. Didn't seem to help.

Also, I noticed that it always says that BattlEye is verion 1.168, but the one I downloaded from the site is 1.62. Is that relevant at all?

Current BE version is 1.168, it updates automatically once you join a server.

I am stuck on the loading screen too, i was ingame this afternoon but BE wasn't yet updated and I got kicked. Let it update next time I joined a server and now am stuck on loading screen.
