I've asked a couple of times but never got a response. With choppers back in the game (oh yeah!!!) I'm worried that they'll all be camped way off the map. Turk (DayZ) 82 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Use Beta patch 95389 or above - rocketthanks, but obviously i am and have been since 1.7.2.4 was released. didn't you read the post? only thing that may have mislead you was 1.7.1.4 when i meant 2.4 - if i'm using 1.62.0. then as i said the nerf should have been applied but it hasn't.m1911 & revolver are still 1 shot kills for me (on zombies, i haven't murdered anyone) and i'm using 1.62.0.95389 with dayz 1.7.14 (though i'll use 1.7.2.5 next but that wont change the nerf) Edited July 30, 2012 by Turk Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's annoying yes, does it mean I cheat because I have zomg 1337 gear? No, I've had to search for it and have been storing it up for awhile now. It's one of the only good things about playing solo, but the duping is crazy and honestly it gets to be a job just having to deal with it. I'm at the point now where until this is fixed I'm just going to leave the tents up with the gear in it, everything I've tried hasn't worked yet to prevent it so meh. If rocket says it can't be fixed with the mod version I guess we'll just have to live with it until this goes stand alone. I still would love to see tent saving FIXED though. Donkamints 22 Posted July 30, 2012 Yes, I can confirm that tents are still not working properly in the current patch with the newest beta patch. They either dupe their entire inventory on each server reset or they get wiped. I cannot seem to duplicate this bug with any reliability. There is also another bug/exploit I would like to see fixed. If you say pitch a tent and put your gear from your characters inventory and backpack in there, wait a minute, log out, log into another server 99% of the time you have all your gear back on your body and you can just go back to the server with the tent(assuming it hasn't restarted) and all your gear is duped in the tent. Please fix this. Also I have noticed tents that I have placed and then packed up reappear where they were originally placed at, effectively duping the tent itself. Basically, you have to remove the rifle and replace it with a melee weapon due to the animation system - this will generate network traffic.
