I love the new zombies. It makes me think twice before popping my gun off in a town. When I first started I was sneaking around scared of zombies until I noticed, Oh I can easily lose them in a building or woods. After the patch I had a Lee Enfield and not realizing it I shot a zombie in the market...Wasn't until about 20 seconds later I noticed what I had done, It took me 2 1/2 clips for it to rid of all the zombies. THEY ARE A THREAT NOW! Like last night running with my group I had a M4A1 CCO SD we run to the market and I kill the few zombies that followed...no problem... We sat there looting and I hear" OH CRAP" * BOOM* My buddy Tubs fired a non silenced bullet in what turned into about a 3-5 min zombie fight.... That was awesome I might add..there were zombies scattered everywhere and def gave us the missing feeling in DayZ... THE ZOMBIES

I thought this game was DayZ, not DayI...

These are supposed to be Zombies, not "infected" superhumans.

sorry but that just shows you haven't read up on the game. Rocket has been quite clear that they are not zombies they are infected humans. And there is nothing superhuman about being able to see its pretty basic

Personally, i loved how zombies are so difficult to handle now. That should be the point of the game: surviving zombies. Specially with the bandit fear, it might bring my immersion back into the game

manoevering around built up areas attempting to not aggro every single Zombie is near impossible. i know exactly what all the smart arses are saying about 1 bar vision and the Zombies are easy to avoid but thats bullshit. Every attempt to loot ends up in a flat out sprint

I crawled / crouched through all of Krasnostav. Did not aggro a single zed. Guess I got lucky...

I know what you mean about how awesome it is to survive an insane zombie onslaught...

My buddy aggro'd about 12 and we booked it into a nearby barn. We figured we could take them out as they came single file into the barn, what we weren't expecting was the 50-60 more zombies to flood every door and window of that barn,

8 clips later, between the two of us, and a floor full of corpses, we ran to the hills

100% loving the new zombies - good call imo.

So far I have seen 4 or 5 cod players try to take me out whilst standing out in the open, only to get run down by a dozen aggro'd zombies. Loved it!!

Got some cool gear and I never even had to fire a shot - hatchets see? - The most valuable weapon in the game.

For me, this whole mod is going into the wrong direction! I have a reallife, so when im playing a game i wanna have fun or the thrill(best both)!!

But on an 250km map, wich is nearly empty, and all vehicles are hoarded somewhere north, its quiet annoying to walk 30-45mins to get where u want. But if theres a building there are z`s(Infected) u have to go prone, crossing a town in snailspeed is really no more fun!!!

To all those "but thats realistic"-Idiots. Where the fuck is that realism? if i sneak around an empty town no Z or Infected would hear me unless they get Superears through the infection! Maybe they would see me if i was dancing infront of them.But its totally nuts they got aggro when they are 50-100m away in city while im in the woods! Hello??WTF!? U ever seen a Z or an infected? NO! But if they would be existing they would still have an human body. And if u shoot a human in the Leg with .50cal or maybe some asaultrifle, ur leg is fucked up! U cant used it, even if it u dint feel pain! And a .50cal bullet in the chest would fuck up ur heart, ur lung etc. Infact ur muscles need blood and O2 to work, even infected would be "Dead" or lets call it out of service!

And can someone explain to me why a hit with an magnum deals exactly the same dmg as a hit with an crowbar!? Thats realism??LOL!

i like it. zombies are actually a challenge to kill and there's a real incentive to avoiding them. before i could just run through a town at will and then just kill the horde with a 1911 or revolver when i got into a building. now there's no guarantee that i'll be able to kill them all fast enough with a sidearm, so i'm forced to switch to my much louder primary and use up its ammo. keep weapon damage where it is now.

the update has made it heaps easier to kill other survivors

they pull all the zombies and you just shoot them while they are busy

And BTW, i was informed about dayZ, even played it 2weeks on a freinds acc before bought it! But i really could never imagine that:

1. the game is going to this directions it does actually

2. it will have the worst community ever been on the www

A Challenge is a Challenge ... but only if the rules are fair/reasonable and as the game being alpha atm the rules are being balanced as we rant ...

So ... this is a process and try to be constructive as it will result in more fun for everyone ...

although im still pissed about being insta killed by unconciouskills where is the point in having 12000 lifepoints if u re 95% dead after hitting 8000 ... that makes no sense ... but i think it will change and to make sure my opinion to that point is heard i registered here ^^

But wattever its a game ;)

You're expecting this game to accomodate you because you have to work and can't play it as much as you want, get over yourself one day and you'll see how silly that sounds.

I think zombies in the major cities should be much weaker but massively greater in numbers then in the more rural areas the zombies are more scarce but are stronger. I would like this, don't know about anyone else.

Don't shoot zombies unless your trapped.

Smoke grenades are your friend.

Loose zombies through buildings and dont stop moving.

Donate some of your zombies to a fellow survivor, even better get them to trap other survivors.

If this were true then the spelling wouldn't be on par with your grammar. Google may not be great with translating grammar, but I've never had it spell something wrong when translating to English. The point still stands, the game's not going to change because you don't have time to play it so you get bored walking around looking for loot, food, water, or survivors.
