I always play on high pop servers (at least 40/50) to increase the chance of coming across someone to shoot :D but NE airfield and berizino seem to always be empty.. methinks I have to relocate to Stary

I have been hanging around the NE airfield for a few days now and no one ever comes up here.. it seems people are so obsessed with the major cities that other areas of chernarus become ghost towns What incentive is there to go anywhere else if you can quickly gear up and shoot people in cherno/elektro? besides hoarding gear/vehicles ofc The standalone needs to scatter the best loot around the map otherwise there is no point in having a big map imo does anyone else live out in the sticks or am I just retarded?

This. Snipers use it to slow the movement of their targets. Someone vaulting is easy to hit.

This is incorrect there are games that have practically no hackers.. EVE online for example, I have never seen a hacker in that game in over 2 years of playing it, people don't even bother because they will be caught by logs, lose their characters and sub money. In a game that requires you to invest time and effort in persistant gameplay, paying a subscription is the only effective way to protect the players investment. DayZ standalone won't get a subscription based model and will always have problems with hackers. All this F2P/cheap key crap means you get inundated by casual hacking kids.

no you will not get banned disconnecting at any time is not against any rules it is considered bad form though if you are avoiding a legit fight

had a 12 year old kid teleport behind me when I was in the middle of nowhere sitting in a tree.. he said "hey bandit you friendly?" in a squeaky voice (he had the hero skin lol) I knew he had to be a hacker and probably had god mode on so I just ran away checking behind me for about a kilometer.. he didn't follow. then he teleported right behind me again and said the same shit "hey bandit you friendly?" I facepalmed and disconnected. you can only really tell if they do it twice otherwise it might just be a coincidence that they were traveling through the same place or spotted part of you not covered by a tree.. unlikely but possible. I have come across and killed a few people in very remote places.. they probably thought I was a teleporting hacker they got brutally murdered by my m14 :D

m14 aim and DMR both use same ammo both are almost a one shot kill against players (taking high damage makes you go unconscious) use m14 when traveling for close to medium range and DMR if you see someone at a distance never shoot zombies

DMR, heli crash site M14 AIM, NE airfield control tower 88 players got their primary from spawns 117 got their primary through other means definitely alot more hacked in weapons that will not be shown by this poll that end up in tents and on dead bodies atm it seems like there is a shady russian arms dealer on every corner of chernarus just handing out guns

I found an M14 AIM at airfield but I kind of wish I hadn't.. now when I die, I will spend hours trying to find it again, lesser weapons seem useless by comparison

I'm a murderer.. always shoot on sight never underestimate the advantage you have when you get the drop on someone its just how the game is.. I've been nice to new spawns before and they have stolen gear from my backpack and have had people who shouted friendly shoot me in the back If someone looks new (i.e. hatchet/lee enfield/double b shotgun) I will avoid them unless they are heading straight for me if you play legit shooting someone is much easier than finding gear again its kind of sad that only hackers can afford to be nice
