T8TRG8TR 17 Posted July 28, 2012 I just picked up a crossbow on the outskirts of Elektro (and a 1911). I'm sure when I spawn in later to play with friends I'll run into some bandits. I know the crossbow is good against infected but what would be a better option in PvP? If I miss with the crossbow and the player sees me I'm fucked. But if you have to choose between them in a fire fight then I might go with the crossbow right now. It is silent and it wasn't negatively affected in the OA update. It takes like 4 shots to take zombies down. I don't know how good it is for players now. If you are firing first, use the crossbow. If you are being fired at then use the 1911 imho.
