Zombies running indoors?

So I had was at the NWAF when I was hit by a zombie and started to bleed. I ran into one of the hangers to bandage up, and noticed that they were still running at me. I had to cease bandaging and Enfield them all.

Has it been updated so they run indoors? Perhaps it was just glitched.

In the sense of under a roof. Unless you've never been to a hangar before, you would known that they usually walk.

I've been to the hangers many times and sometimes they'll sprint and others they will walk. Its not dependable at all.

No, Hangars don't count as buildings. It's too open, and zombies have never been forced to walk in them.

At least not on 1.7.1.5 and newer.

I have never seen zombies walk inside of a hangar. Rising is correct, they are not indoors. Having something above you does not constitute as indoors, just like zombies will run in construction areas underneath catwalks that are not inside of a building. Zombies have been running inside of hangars since I started playing, which was 1.7.1.5

Zombies typically start walking when they enter a building. Don't know about hangers though.

Why the fuck would they walk indoors? They run like forrest gump for fucking miles then all of a sudden walk like a

It's related to some weird pathfinding thing and also gives the semi-appropriate sense that indoors are safer. Whether or not this is intended I don't know.
