GTX 690 is slower than SLI 680 and from experiance with crossfire & SLI its not worth the hassel or the money !!! <_< Just get the best single GPU card you can and live with it!!! ;) 2 GPUS on a single board is just marketing hype/shite they always cause problems and never perform as they should!!! :huh: Dont blame AMD or nvidia its the games are not optimised for them ! :(

Dont not get attached to your gear in a alpha mod thats FREE!!! ;)

There is plenty to do, here is a good one help people out and find new friends!!! B) Or go scouting for camp sites in the north!!! Or alt+return and just masturbate till you hungry and run out of food and water !!! Then go looking for sheep!! :unsure: Life is what you make it so is Dayz!! ;)

GTX 690 :facepalm: its just a GTX 680 SLI single card ! Arma 2 is not optimised for SLI so GTX 680 you have according to arma !!! Why on earth anyone would spend that much money on -20% to +20% performance gain is beyond me!!! :unsure:

People please stop with this "Buy a laptop to play games"!!! :huh: You need a real computer, not some hack job to make it smaller. I been into to PCs for 15 years, I been fixing them for 10 years and I can tell you now. The worst computers to fix are fucking laptops, 80% of the repairs I do are fucking laptops, they fuckup, overheat, get full of fluff and shit, hard drive failure is rampant...etc!! <_< Laptops are the worst computers you can buy for gaming. Period!!! Hard to fix, easy to break and the power connector always fucks up!! In fact I refuse to repair a faulty power connector because they are so hard to fix!!! >:(

NO!!! PS3 and Xbox could not deal with arma 2 let alone arma 2 + mod!!! Arma 2 uses upto 1.5gb, also upto 70+ players in the mod. BF3 was restricted on consoles to 24 players, so its NO NO......but <_< Next gen consoles should be able to pull it off, so xbox720 & PS4 maybe ...... ;)

I know what your saying but it really does depend on rez.... Lower rez higher CPU usage. Higher rez higher GPU usage. Also ram plays alot, as windows 7 kills 1.5gb no problem on loading, arma 2 is around 1gb max with dayz!! Then you got overheads anti-v, firewalls, itunes etc!!! So 4gb will just about make it, 8gb+ really to be safe!!! From his spec he should have no problems at all!! NONE PERIOD!!! ;) So if it not running right you fucked up in the driver department and something is hogging your PC!! <_< Get it checked, reinstall windows if you have to, but your spec you should have no problems at all! :D
