Agree that the sensitivity settings still need some work. I also have an issue with inverted controls being disabled when aiming a weapon or raising hands. Pretty difficult to aim when up is now down! Playing on Xbox, problem appeared after yesterday’s update...

Yes. Please fix the combat or ads mode for inversion. I like to invert camera which works but now if you aim or use combat (even melee) it's not inverted. Really annoying

Xbox VOIP toggle or voice on was working a day ago. Doesn't appear either is working now.

  • Stabbing attacks had an inconsistent attack speed (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T163835)
  • Certain gestures would make the character float above the ground when executed in prone (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T161093)
  • Sound of ear ringing caused by the flash grenade could get stuck at some situations
  • Items could get stuck in the air when thrown from a high altitude (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T163944)
  • Sounds for footsteps were missing while the character had raised hands while holding two-handed stabbing weapons
  • Ruined Zmijovka hat didn't properly reflect its state
  • Fixed a collision exploit with stabbing weapons (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T163834)
  • If a player untied an improvised rope belt with knife attached to it, the knife disappeared
  • Mouse cursor was invisible in the respawn menu
  • Opening the quick bar collided with the VOIP activation
  • VOIP didn't work after respawn
  • VOIP toggle didn't function in some cases

  • Scope-zooming in without unzooming changed the camera perspective on the default control scheme

Haven't had a chance to check the latest EXP patch yet, but I hope the movement speed has been addressed. Max turn speed has been chopped in half in this EXP update for some reason, as a player who has always played on Max Sensitivity it feels very sluggish. Please please increase max turn speed if it hasn't been already, I see no fix for it on the list so I'm assuming its still very slow. I have a lot of respect to the Dev team & love DayZ but if it drops like it is, a lot of players just wont be able to play comfortably

Loving the changes and newness.....looking forward to the offical release. 

Not liking the non inverted y on the aim/punch controls. I play inverted normally, but using melee, or ranged attacks, the controls are normal (up is up, down in down) finding this frustrating. Is this a bug, or will the choice be available to invert y on the attack mode?

Yes please either change or have the inverted aim a toggle option. I play inverted as well and having it opposite as soon as you go into combat mode is so annoying

Great Exp Update!! Toggle Voip on/off finally working on Xbox. I was loosing hope regarding the Voip toggle option but it seems like that the devs finally figured it out. Keep it up!!! ❤️

I tried toggling but couldn't seem to get it to stay on. What do you press to keep voip on?

Hi Bohemia, Just here to say some inital feed back about the new controller scheme, I hope this is the right place.

Personally I've tried using the new one and I do like some of the new differences which are much more ergonomic, but some make the inventory management and other things a bit more complicated.

First of all, for the General tab, the "Zoom"  and "change camera" should not of been swapped in my own opinion, I use zoom a lot more than changing perspective. The double tap of LB is a lot easier to do than to press the Right Analogue in to zoom, so changing that back would make it much better.

Also if I do press in the Right Analogue stick, there is more of a chance of my camera slipping more on average due to the pressure i'm putting onto the look button aswell.

In the Combat Stance tab, There are some changes like the "Change Fire mode" and    "Optics mode" both not being on the D-pad, but its nothing I can't get my head around.

The inventory tab has changed a bit and I will adress some changes there. I love the changes which make "dragging items" throughout the inventory from A to RT, that was a good call aswell as the new "quick slots" RB which I also like.

The one problem i'm facing is the option to combine has gone from the B button to the A button, which I don't like and prefer it to be B as it simply feels better.

Aswell as "taking something to hands" should also be reverted back to the A button from the X button. 

One last thing is the "split" option in my opinion should also be reverted back to holding Y instead of holding A.

 

Any changes I haven't mentioned are ones I don't mind about and I accept them with opening arms! I hope this feedback helps.

@lynn.zawJust checked EXP again, max turn speed hasn't been patched like ADS speed has been. Still way slower on max setting than previous build. really hope this gets fixed before the update drops on the 19th , for players who use current max controller sensitivity it'll be pretty brutal having your sensitivity forceable chopped in half.

Issue with plate carrier & accessories on Xbox when a pistol and holster is equipped. The “box” highlight showing your selected item duplicates to the pistol and one of the items in the attached pouches and any attempt to remove the pistol manually results in picking up or selecting an item from the inventory.
