  • Increased Noise dampening to reduce better the hearing ability of infected through obstacles
  • Reduced range at which infected call for help by 82,5%, except for Military officer

  • Doubled the time between two calls for help pings generated by infected; Military officers got their timing increased by 33%
  • Crouch sprinting is now louder than crouch "walk" but quieter than upright jog
  • Reduced the range of critical awareness of soldier infected by 20%, making them easier to stealth on
  • It is no longer possible to drink (or force-feed) disinfectant or alcoholic tincture

CENTRAL ECONOMY

  • Spawning 25% fewer vehicle parts
  • Weapons spawning with magazines will now have at least 1 bullet
  • Assault rifles spawn only with basic attachments
  • Fixed spawning values of the Pioneer rifle
  • Dirt bike helmets can now spawn with mouth guard and visor attached
  • Plate carrier vests are only found on infected heavy soldiers and in a (badly) damaged state
  • KA-74 rifles are no longer counted in hoarder type containers (to match the newly added M16-A2)
  • Adjusted spawn points for shipping containers and the village church
  • Reduced random quantity for the vitamin bottle

SERVER

  • Changed: priority.txt now supports comments (// This is a comment)
  • Changed: priority.txt now supports banning by name (NOTE: except if they contain spaces, as spaces are a delimiter) or hashed id

  • Changed: priority.txt now supports returns as delimiters
  • Changed: When the server is loading the storage, if it finds an invalid item, it will drop it on the ground instead of deleting it and give it the same lifetime as the root

KNOWN ISSUES

  • When relogging while bleeding, the "Cut" indicator might disappear (blood loss will continue to be displayed, a fix for this is in internal testing)

Hey, great changes and update! I wanted to know if any quality of life updates especially for code locks are in the pipeline? For example the open and close mechanic with locks are really a pain in the ... Maybe more like it's handled in mods. The lock stays at the door and if you type one time your code, you can open it up without entering the pin again...?

I was on an experimental server I had two bandages one glow stick one apple and a spark plug that I found, then I logged off the server got on a new server and the spark plug is still in my inventory. Is that apposed to happen? This was for xbox one.

what servers do you need to play on to access all the new features? semi new player tired of playing servers with low action for xbox one

I am bummed boys. I do appreciate the update. I am bummed that I can't use the 6x on the m16 or anything else other than a suppressor. Other than that...ugh I'm just still bummed. It's a great update but the lack of diversity on the m16 really really really kills me.

Please fix the Iron sight > Scope ADS sensitivity bug on consoles! It pretty anti consumer that you still ignore such a simple request from your console community, aside all the other problems on console!

It's also a shame that we still get massive fps drops in "many areas" when zooming with a hunting scope on Xbox Series X (happens 1080p, 1440p and 4K)!

And please for the love of god (finally) fix the damn server performance! With 99% of full pop servers (official servers + community with 50 slots and above) there is non working AI, Teleporting players, delayed actions aso. because of poor server performance/fps.... Please do work on the server sided problems in DayZ and sort this out or change your server provider is it's related to poor/underperforming hardware!

@SillyJoe What are you talking about? There isn't an issue with ads. I haven't had a single problem nor any of the problems you're describing. Which is saying something cause I have well over 150 days worth of hours played. My gt is rekmyrooster in case you wanna verify or call me a cunt.

@SillyJoe it sounds like you have latency issues buddy. Call your internet provider services as see what's happen. Don't hit me with “i got good internet” cause you don't. All your problems sound like connection issues.

Has anyone seen a Z with a plate carrier so far?  I was 3-5 times  in each high Tier mil base since the update and killd few hundred Z but still havent seen a single one.

no... there is an issue with ADS sensitivity and that being that every scope has different speed, which shouldn't happen and should be consistent and dependent on zoom level and also have the ability to be fine tuned by the player in the settings menu just like normal sensitivity is.

vanilla servers struggle sometimes when the server is full, i've played on a lot of official servers with 40-50 ping, and yet the doors take like a second to open, and zeds don't even notice you often... although this was in 1.12 on PC.

Need official 1PP dedicated mouse and keyboard server available on xbox; controller has dedicated 1PP servers.  There isn't even a standard variable perspective mouse and keyboard available on experimental so I've been alienated from experimental until stable since 1.08 when I started playing. You can use controller on mouse and keyboard servers but you can't use mouse and keyboard on controller servers. I just don't get it.

The ads is god awful, scopes displaying all white, scopes not rendering correctly. ADS freezing and lag when aiming down sights. It’s deplorable

Sorry but..

1. I do have a very good Internet over here (500/100mbps @FTTH) and on top I do have a very good/powerful router with an excellent QoS setup. I also don't encounter any issues with other online games that are related to my internet connection or the peering of my ISP.

2. I mostly play with a group of people from various regions and "ALL" of them encounter those issues! You are clearly lost if this doesn't tell you that the issues aren't related to internet connections or ISPs of the end users.

3. One of the main problems of DayZ is that the server sided code is very outdated/bad as most of the calculations are running on a "single core" instead of making proper use of modern "multi core" server CPUs/hardware. I'm pretty sure that's the main reason why servers do perform so poorly (very low server fps) when full pop. It's actually a known problem and not anything new but the devs never took a statement on this. E.g. flying/suicide cars are also mostly related to bad server performance (besides the laughable implementation of physics in DayZ).

If you haven't encountered any issues that are related to server performance it means that you don't play on 50+ slot full pop servers. I have no idea if its currently different on PC but we clearly have a major server performance related issues on PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Series S/X. It was a bit better a couple patched before but at the moment it is very easy to see that full pop (50 slots and above) servers are struggling to hold a stable and healthy FPS which is needed for smooth game play (official + community servers).

And before you mention my internet connection and/or ISP again let me tell you that I do have a smoke ping setup running on my router that constantly measures the RTT and PL to various DayZ servers... I have 15-20ms to EU servers with zero packet loss! Trust me I'm capable to spot issues on my end but there are non.
Once again, the server performance issues that I'm talking about are NOT related to anything on my end... It's not client sided, it's server sided!

That's mostly related to old gen console hardware (+slow hdd's) and to some degree it's related to bad optimization. On my Series X I rarely encounter these issues anymore but the performance even on the Series X is still far from being perfect. Still huge fps drops (especially with the hunting scope) and some render issues. You have to accept that if you play DayZ on old gen hardware (PS4/PS4-Pro, Xbox One) you will never have a solid and stable experience and that's mostly related to the weak hardware. Even if DayZ on console still feels pretty poorly optimized we can't blame the devs for the weak console hardware (old-gen).

I don't know if we will ever see a proper next gen version of DayZ for the new consoles (PS5 + Series S/X) that does fully make use of the hardware but for PS5 a next-gen version is much needed as DayZ on PS5 still only runs at 30fps because of Sony's backward compatible system... Again (imo) we can't blame the devs on this one but they should start working on a next gen version which could also be tested via Xbox Experimental/Xbox insider...

When we gonna receive updates for the building system again? Dont get me wrong the building aspect is great just need a bunch of small improvements or just add the building system that the modding community on pc has created
