Zombies getting stuck and not aggroing

It used to not happen much on officials due to the 60 cap player limit, i play on DE1297 and this is happening more and more e often, it really ruins the experience for me zombies not aggroing properly, are the devs aware of this issue???

1. It is intended to work that way

2. You and the other survivors somehow misused the game which caused this problem

3. People are always nit picking features of the game.  There are a lot of other games out there that don't share this feature. I can't understand why you play a game you don't like?

in my experience this happens on certain servers. I have played on 60-80 pop servers with no problems, but for some reason Therunningmanz servers always have infected that are stuck and that do not aggro properly.

But I'm playing on an official server, it shouldn't be happening.

Most likely related to the increased server performance issues brought on by 1.10. (See this feedback ticket: https://feedback.bistudio.com/T155184) After the latest 1.10 hotfix server performance was back at mostly acceptable, but at higher populations servers still struggle a lot unless they are run on monstrous dedicated machines. Which does not apply to official servers, that are more likely to be multiple sessions. As a rule of thumb I would not set foot on an official server above medium population.

Yes, I have recently noticed this as well on vanilla official servers.  At the time I encountered it the server had high pop and I was playing with a friend who would also basically slideshow around me. Playing the next day on the same server with low pop, the player movement was smooth but infected were still quite stuck.
