Hey! I asked the same thing when I was playing in NL 3664734 for the last two weeks without any rain at all and today I changed to NL 3664728 and it was very rainy all the time.

So they stopped rain because some people didn't like being caught out in the rain and ending up freezing then dead.

Can't these people in their nappies have their own dedicated servers where there is no rain, easy zombies to kill, and loads of loot are available and let the remainder play as the game should be ?

I was in about an hour's worth of rain last night.  I play on official.

Official servers are on real time.  You just have to be on the right server at the right time to catch a storm.  On most community servers, the time is sped up so you aren't stuck with just day, just night, or just rain for the entirety of your play time on any given day.
