Here is a serious question @ImpulZ and althoug it might sound harsh, i still would like you to answer it. Is it lack of experience or incompetens or is it because you don't have a Q&A team or maybe did they just miss all these game breaking glitches? The insurgency team went online in a dev video a few days ago and flat out told the console community that they are inexperienced with making a game for consoles, hence the delays. Not a single person blamed them for that but instead praised them for going puplic to let the fans know.

Is it lack of experience or incompetens or is it because you don't have a Q&A team or maybe did they just miss all these game breaking glitches? Not that easy to answer. First of all it's crucial to understand that DayZ is a very deep game (meaning lots of content and features that are all connected in some way in a persistent environment), and the port to console brought a new amount of complexity to our entire development and QA testing. So certain issues are appearing on both versions, some are only easier to reproduce on console, some are console specific (such as this specific issue, which is caused by the console inventory). It might be worth to mention at this point that our QA department is not consisting of hundreds of testers that play DayZ 24/7, but rather a dozen people, some of them part-timers, that have to test not only the current live version, but also every new fix, content, feature etc that comes to the game. This team is split over PC and consoles (both Xbox and PS4). While they are highly dedicated, it's just important to understand how much resources "proper testing" for a game with the depth of DayZ would require. Still, we took the challenge head on, and unfortunately the initial results for the console versions showed a lot of issues that we haven't been able to fix in the past months, and delays are still bound to happen. With 1.04 we are looking forward to some major fixes and changes around those exploits plaguing the game. Our QA is testing the new version as we speak to the best of their abilities, but there will always be the chance that certain issues make it back in the game. I hope that helped a bit. 8 5

Now, please forward to the team that we would like to help bug/glitch test every little future patch with a few community test servers. We love the game and would gladly help, but not in a live environment where it ruin the game experience (released patches). Again, thanks for the reply. Sadly console test servers will not be an option, as it would again complicate the process on our side with additional submissions that have to be made (which again requires more time from our QA), and servers that need to be maintained. Ydbxsnowwolf 5 Posted July 9, 2019 Its good to see the team actively replying🙂 however 1 question @ImpulZ alot of people are wondering if there will be a complete wipe coming with 1.04, mainly because just a character or server wipe will not get rid of duper's alt accounts that have god tents on them or stashes full of god tents. Would appreciate an answer as well as the of the community
