But when it works: long stick + rope = bow or fishing rod. Another Long stick needs to be cut up into small sticks. Sharpen sticks, add chicken feathers. Voilá improvised bow and arrows

Its not coming any time soon. The devs said during a recent livestream that its not even on their list right now and will probably be added sometime prob 6+ months after game launch.
