GaijinGER 1 Posted December 27, 2018 Copy past with google translate ? reloading blocked, how do you fix that
PEACE_543 99 Posted December 27, 2018 (edited) I believe he's asking about reloading a weapon. I have no clue what your first language is but maybe you can translate. If the gun is jammed/blocked. There is a bullet/round/ammo that is stuck in the barrel/chamber of the gun/weapon. It can be fix/repair with a "Weapon Cleaning Kit" You cant fix/repair if the condition is "Worn" or "Pristine". I hope this helps. Edited December 28, 2018 by PEACE_543 I cannot confirm this works on Xbox at the moment

I've has the " chambering jam" bug when you chamber a lot and the cleaning kit told me to fuck myself pretty much, thought Xbox version didn't have unjamming implemented yet?

Nope gun repair kit won't work , until the devs deem it necessary to add a whole mechanic rather than half of it. Once a gun is jammed on console it's completely dead, no button bound to unjam as of yet. Another classic half a job done just like the flu mechanic (no cure added & transmittable to other players) and the holding breath mechanic (doesn't exist on console after three months, even though it's a simple button binding issue)
PEACE_543 99 Posted December 28, 2018 I trust your judgement. Excuse me if i frigg'd up, I am but a mortal man. I could have sworn I dislodged a jam prior to the last update. But since I only use "worn" or "pristine" weapons and ammo, I don't get very many jams. (literally like 3 or 4 just because I was using weapons with bad condition) Either way you should always keep your guns clean or else you risk breaking it either momentarily or permanently. I'm still not sure whats being asked but looking at the GER in their name, I'm assuming they're German. I'd say we need a translator, as I doubt google translate understands Dayz banter or troubleshooting.

I bet my left nut the guns condition has nothing to do with the jamming. I've had more jams with worn guns than damaged. Once I found a fx-45 in good condition, a guy came right after, I chambered one round, shot him, next thing I know the gun broke and couldn't reload. I've gone for a rampage with a badly damaged ak and shot multiple mags with it without a problem.

I can definitely agree it shouldn't take a second item to dislodge a jammed round. IRL Anyone familiar with their weapon would be able to clear the jam quickly. The images of the jammed weapons indicates either "stovepiping" or a double feed malfunction. I'm no weapons expert but here's a few things i found. I've also found some articles that say IRL this is caused by poor ammo, dirty guns, bad mags or a bad recoil spring. It seems in .60 you had to remove the mag to clear the double feed. He even says there is usually a stray bullet left behind but he couldn't find it. In .63 it seems there's an animation tied to clearing a jammed weapon. I honestly don't know where i got the idea of the weapon cleaning kit. but i remember there was a couple threads about it when they first introduced it, so i probably took that as fact. Unless you can fix it by removing the mag and racking the slide, i doubt implemented yet. But hopefully these videos will give you an idea of where the concept is going. As whatever they plan to do with the jamming mechanics in the future, I'm sure it'll be realistic.
TheYetiBum 790 Posted December 28, 2018 On the PC version you simply hold the fire button once a jam occurs and it'll go through the jam clearing animation which takes about five seconds, but on console they neglected to assign the animation to RT trigger once a jam occurs. So whenever they deem it prudent to do so it'll be possible to fix a jam. Until that day all weapon jams equate to a dead weapon. Exceptionally game breaking, I've died several times due to this already. Game is bein put down until all these game breaking bugs & half mechanics are finished or fixed. 1
