Ruined 2 4x4 engines after update

Recommended Posts

Jumped in my vehicle this morning and in about 30 seconds the engine light had gone to yellow then red (ruined). Got another 4x4 up and running and the same thing happened. I added a full can of motor oil before starting and after the yellow light appeared and it still died. Anyone else see their vehicle go up in smoke in record time this morning?

Also, as I was unloading it it despawned in less than 40 minutes with about half my gear <facepalm>.

I'm not sure about the despawn, but the car most likely overheated due to lack of water in the radiator

Good point. I did spend a moment trying to put water in the radiator but didn’t think it was implemented/allowed yet because the option wasn’t readily appearing. I’m assuming it’s filled from the front of the vehicle?

Yeah you need to hold RB and look directly at the cap where you pour the water into the top of the radiator. It's pretty small

Lost one car... the Radiator will need about a full Jerrycan of water then a quarter to be full not sure on oil it sure definitely will need more then one bottle  I was getting a warning  only a few  minutes of driving my other car  and turned around right away

This new system is no joke I like it.. My car is ready to go need to find more oil to test how many bottles it will need  then I will do a long drive

Does running the engine consume oil at the same rate as gasoline? Not very realistic if so

Oh damn. I didn’t know this either. Thought my 2 cans would cut it. Thanks for the info.
