Using gas stove?

Found a gas stove, gas cylinder, cooking pot and rice. Trying to cook the rice...

Can combine the stove and cylinder but cannot turn it on. 

There are no prompts to turn it on.

Is this bugged ATM?

Put it on the ground first and scroll wheel you should get an option to turn it on. Btw you probably shouldn't cook the packed rice. :P

There might not be gas in the canister. It won't prompt if empty and it also doesn't indicate it being empty neither. It really should show a percentage like the other fillable containers/bottles etc.

I have an issue where I can turn the stove on but cant place the pot of water on top of it. Is there a special way to do this?

Combine them in inventory first then place on ground and turn on.
