Making developer's take action

It’s always interesting how things come full circle..

There's a difference between "capitalism & communism" and consumerism (as the chinese demonstrate, them being a socialist country "aiming for" communism - but producing consumer goods like crazy)  - do you think we will have time to come full circle before we run out of the strategic materials necessary to support our civilization?   Consumerism does have enormous bearing on human rights, of course.

-  just wondering

Light reading for you,  HERE  - and the timelines are worth noticing.  Only a page, won't take 10 mins.  Nothing about the Illuminati though.. Just an intro then short sit. reps. condensed from government & military & scientific & economic studies. Ya know?

<no prob.>

There’s also a huge difference (which I’m sure you’re aware of) between capitalism and communism, particularly when you enter certain countries, and agin, state rule...

In the long run, we will of course as a species, be required to find alternative methods to our consumption needs.

Very intriguing discussions and topics.

Perhaps after a few beverages we could venture down the rabbit hole within the rabbit hole?

OK, so this takes us back to what Poolofdeath1337 was saying in the first post in this thread - his thread.

This kinda adds too my point I saw marginal to nothing about Xbox other then the hit box issue sadly . How about the how the phantom bullets in magazines? How about the server integrity? Players stuck in database? The invisible silhouette of players appearing as a little ball, even any information on content being added to the game just general QOL things for us console players to look forward too. Why even mention Xbox if you have nothing to share other then we know hit box is bad then your right back to PC info I'm a console player I don't care about PC

Some word on a controller update would've been nice, I'll wait as long as it takes for BETA to come to console after PC testing. I'm patient in respect to mechanics and items being added back In as that testing will take a lot of time on PC first & the hit reg issues sound as though there's multiple causes so that'll take awhile to iron out. But a small QOL update to just add hold breathe functionality and the ability to freelook which are already on PC Shouldn't be difficult to just assign those functions to key bindings on controller. The data they'd accrue purely from people being able to PvP more effectively in respect to hit registration would be worth it surely.

fingers crossed that somebody somewhere is working on these basics in the BI offices.

Every early access game i have played has had the same kind of people complaining on forums with unrealistic expectations for an early release game, PUBG was in game preview for 1 year before it reached 1.0. Whne you sign up or pay for early access prepare for the long game, or just don't bother with early access.

You confuse "capitalism" and "democracy" totally. Sorry mate, they are two different things. You have some incoherent idea that capitalism and democracy are in some way similar?
Also don't confuse "democracy" and "human rights" they are quite separate.  ( "torture works", someone in the USA said recently).

The textbook definition of Western countries today  is "capitalist democracies" - not "democracies" - the Greeks had "democracies" 5th century BC, and laid down the theory =. to denote the political systems then existing in Greek city-states, notably Athens, to mean "rule by the people", in contrast to "aristocracy", meaning "rule by an elite".

The USA is not a "democracy". It is a "capitalist empire that pays lip service to minimalist democracy and christianity".

[ A <minimalist democracy>  is a system of government in which citizens have periodic elections to give teams of political leaders the right to rule. According to this minimalist conception, citizens cannot and should not "rule" because, for example, on most issues, most of the time, they have no clear views or their views are not well-founded. ]

[ In contrast : the Founding Fathers of the United States rarely praised and often criticized democracy. - James Madison argued that what distinguished a democracy from a republic was that the former became weaker as it got larger and suffered more violently from the effects of faction, whereas a republic could become stronger as it got larger and combat faction by its structure. John Adams insisted that what was critical to American values,  was that "the government" must be "bound by fixed laws, which the people have a voice in making, and a right to defend." - Benjamin Franklin said  " [..we have given you..] a  republicif you can keep it."

[ rational ignorance - On most issues, most of the time, the citizen has no clear views or their views are not well-founded, and they deliberately decide (individually) to remain so. They accept that this "decision" renders meaningless & arbitrary even their <minimalist democratic vote> .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rational_ignorance  ]

Apologies

If you think about it.. DayZ being a human social experiment of sorts, with some groups abiding by certain morals and ethics is, in a roundabout way, on par with political discussions...

No...no.. political talk is about as bad as discussing religion, who am I kidding..right.

Back to DayZ talking points.

 DayZ on Consoles

to paraphrase some PARTS of Baty Alquawen's announcement HERE on this BLOG about Xbox work in progress :

 <<

   Is PC your primary platform?

Yes, it absolutely is our primary platform. Every piece of new content, every feature, every new bit of technology always gets into the PC version first. Both Xbox One (and PlayStation 4) run only what already exists on PC. Ultimately any development progress made now is always implemented on PC first.

Should we be worried about DayZ being on consoles?

No! Quite the contrary: we need to squeeze every frame, and every possible line of code optimization out of DayZ  in order to make it run well on consoles
Remember, PC development is console development. It's not two different things.
There is work associated with specific platform support and  BUG FIXING,  mostly in programming and QA, but we're not taking the time of developers that are critical for reaching our Experimental, Stable and 1.0 goals for PC. =  (because)   PC development is Console development.

This may be how they handle things but this doesn't have anything to do with how there addressing bugs or any content for Xbox my point is for them be clear and open.

Im glad they want push things from PC to xbox great but that's a port over this will not account for bugs that will plague a game port over as opposed to a game made for certain console.

Not to compare Apple's to oranges but take one of biggest let downs for direct port over/ preview game pubg. Both games launch with bugs that cripple game since start , both games have had critical lack of openness with there communities causing backlash in angry fans. both have made a direct port to console which has caused critical game breaking features.both have made promises Which they couldn't keep.

Which has now proved taking a game porting to a new console doesn't work unless your a AAA game developer and can allocate resources for it. So bringing us back around to the start your telling me PC is focus and I'll even agree to understand that to a point but your telling me your company now has launched a port over which you don't have a focus to support fully until you get the PC fixed or lets be nice and say working while launching a new game "vigor I'm looking at you" but you don't have resources to have your development team give status updates about your plans to fix bugs ?

No problem mate.

But if you put paragraph breaks in your texts - probably more people will read what you say..

When I write long texts on this blog , I think usually a lot of people don't read them.   When they look at all the text quickly, they really only  notice  a few words in the middle.

Then they give up.

So they never find out what I want to say.

Put in more line-spaces and more people will hear your ideas.

- this is just my opinion.

If it is hard to read, people won't bother reading it.   So make it easy for them.
