Dying for no reason

It's happen twice now. The screen just randomly pops up dead. No reason I can tell. I don't hear any gun shots, no bleeding or health bad indicating that I am dying. Just dead! Annoying AF!

Anyone else running into this?

Not sure how realistic the gunplay is in this game.

If it is anything like real life, you won’t hear the shot from beyond a certain distance, as the round will travel quicker than the sound of the shot.

Probably hit with a silenced AKM. Within 100-150m it's a 1 shot to the chest. You probably got tagged and he was close range.

I’ve died 3 times exactly the same way. The screen freezes and goes black just as a zombie makes his charge at me and there is nothing I can do about it. I know it’s buggy. It only happens when I would consider myself fully geared,so as this takes quite a while it is frustrating. As a result I’m going to leave the game until it’s more stable.

Lol.. You got shot bud. Probably messing with your inventory to long in place. Was it at a military area?

More than likely a long range shot... I've been hit in the torso, survived and then heard the shot ring out a second afterwards. I've been shot a lot actually, never died from a single hit though, yet...
