Maytrix001 9 Posted September 5, 2018 I was doing pretty good - had no issues with food or water, pretty much dropping some here and there since I couldn't carry anymore. finally found a knife too! 3 while I played tonight (all the other times, never found a single one). Anyway, I was about to call it quits for the night and was heading to a spot to quit when my controller batteries died. And my guy kept moving in the direction I was moving which brought him right by a zombie who attacked. So.. I died.. Didn't have other batteries or another controller close enough to get back on quick enough. EnforcingSkullsX 13 Posted September 5, 2018 The same thing happened to me one time. I was lucky enough to be in a building, but I continued to run in circles while I was searching for batteries. Pretty funny moment since I didn't die. There also seems to be a glitch I've run into a few times where when you disconnect your controller it wont reconnect to the game and you have to restart Dayz. Only way I have died; bar from hunger and thirst on my first spawns. Lost all my gear, I was gutted...for a moment, then got back to it and now, its like I never died. Its a bugger though, for sure. If they didnt; you would of only been here crying because you got reset. So, try thanking them before you talk shit about their work. My controller disconnected for some reason, then reconnected fine but apparently that is a bug as well since you don't regain control. My character wondered into a zombie and died..
