Hello DayZ Forums!

I've recently bought a new PC and I've got a GTX 1060 3GB with an i5 7500, This is what I have in my Device Manager http://prntscr.com/gd3vi4 when I disable the Intel HD Graphics so I can use my GTX 1060 3GB It brings this up this http://prntscr.com/gd3vx6 d This is also what i have in my 'dxdiag' ? Is there anything I have to buy something separately? Like a Displayport to VGA or something I've currently got a VGA port but that's probably why it's not working? Anyone having suggestions thanks!

Did you disable the Intel HD GPU in the BIOS?  I would do that first and then driver clean install.

Try this:  Go into nVidia Control Panel, on the left under 3D Settings click on Manage 3D Settings then in the right panel under Global Settings make sure Preferred Graphics Card is set to High Performance nVidia Processor (not auto-select) and report back.  Good luck.

try this

https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Use "Auto detect"  the GPU  (bottom option on the page)   .. then load all the drivers

er - dumb question, you did plug in the 6-pin power extra power connector for the card ?

The card takes about 120W and you need a 400W PSU ?? but this is (by the by and I guess) NOT the problem?  Nah ...

ps - the card itself has to be connected by cable to your VDU (you should have got at least one cable boxed with the card).. you must use one of the external slots on the card itself -  not the PCs built-in VDU output slot. But you know that.

Go to the Geforce page above, detect the card  Get all the drivers and Direct X up to date.

Tell us what happens

xx
