Error creating enfusion engine

You can see the problem in the title, I've got a GeForce GTX 280 Graphics card and DX12 Installed but i still can't get it to work. Any suggestions?

I don't think that a GTX 280 can handle DX12. It's backwarts compatible but it cannot use any functions from DX12. A quick google search tells, that even DX11 is a risk for that card. I think the only option is to update your hardware. Or try the lates driver, maybe they help.

GTX280 is DirectX 10 as far as my Google searches can figure out.

What you have installed don't matter if the GPU can't use it, so you'll need an upgrade.

280 does not support DirectX 11.

Make sure you pay close attention to the minimum system requirements of a game before purchasing.

This would have told you that your GPU is not enough to play this game.

 

As much as I hate to tell you this, but you're not going to have much fun with a 10 year old GPU..
