Is it possible to remove the "crosshair"?

Hey guys,

just wondering, is it possible to remove the "crosshair" from first person? Like, is there an options feature somewhere?
I mean the little bent line. Just don't like it, in fact it seems distracting to me.

These days I'm playing on a server with the crosshair removed, it has 'ohne crosshair' in the name. So I guess it is possible.

Yes, it's a server configuration. I have it turned off on mine.

We have it removed in our servers but its not FULLY removable unfortunately. When you have a gun in your hands it's still there. There should have options to remove it completely. I prefer 3rd person but during combat you move slower in 1pp (I prefer pvp in 1pp) where as 3pp moves faster (side-to-side) which isn't fair.
