Location of grenades

I"m trying to find nades other than crash sites.  is this possible?  If so, where?

I've found them in barracks, but the delay when throwing them is soooooo excruciatingly long that my targets have already moved a safe distance away.  Just last night I counted a full 20 seconds before the grenade exploded.

Long barracks in the shower room, on the sink. Dunno if they still spawn there, I don't really look for them anymore. They are useful for clearing out campers hiding in buildings, but I find them inconsistent.
